The use of accepted conventions and style of writing is important, as is the correct use of spelling, punctuation and grammar. All of these are essential if you are to provide the audience with material that they can read and understand. All work need to be submitted via your blog. Task 2

Explore types and styles of writing used in digital media You need to compare two different writing styles used in different fictional film scripts and online journalism. You need to consider the styles of writing, who the writing is aimed at and why it appropriate for the target audience. The films scripts you are going to compare and evaluate are Attack the Block and Harry Potter and the TV scripts you are going to compare and evaluate are Skins and Sherlock. The online journalism you are going to compare and evaluate are an e-music magazine and e-newspaper of your choice.

Produce written material for digital media You need to research and write an article for a new music based e-magazine about an up and coming musician or band. You need to consider who your readership is and the style of writing that would appeal to your target your audience. You also need to include relevant codes and conventions and design a layout for your final article. All work needs to be proof read and checked for spelling and grammatical errors and saved in an appropriate way.
