The Voyage to Rome (Part 1)

Path for Believers obvious –

NOT so for Unbelievers

The account of the ship voyage in Acts is indeed a masterpiece of literature.

However, the exposition of the account is also a masterpiece.

Luke’s details are thoroughly explained, and, for each of the details,

a powerful application is made for our lives.

The presentation is riveting.

I am in an academic environment surrounded by agnostics and cynics.

I urged three colleagues to listen with me.

They all thoroughly enjoyed the lesson and all are eager to learn the rest of the story!

Seattle, Washington

Masterful exposition of a masterpiece of literature - Acts 27.

The presentation is calm, measured, clear and powerful.

This lesson is catching the attention of, and earning favor from, people

who have never previously indicated any interest in any Bible passage.

And, of course, as always

the gospel message is presented clearly and simply.

Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

Dear friends, the lesson on the ship voyage is captivating.

The story itself is outstanding,

but the calm, measured explanations enliven the account.

This lesson, like every one of the lessons, is so interesting

that I am not ashamed to share with my unbelieving friends.

Each of them loved the story, and are anxious to know the rest!

London, England

The account of the ship voyage is an absolute marvel.

Marvelous in the beautiful storytelling

and also because the account is so intriguing

people are willing to listen to the end.

And of course, thank you for the clear, uncluttered Gospel message.

My sister in law, a cousin, and a neighbor trusted in Jesus as Savior!

Stockholm, Sweden

The ship voyage -- wows!

Good talking of the story

Good talking about God

Beijing, China

The account of the Acts ship voyage changed my life.

What a story!

What story tellers -- both Luke and the pastor!

As I was enjoying the story I gradually became alarmed

because I realized that if I had died I would have gone to hell.

Thankfully my fears were allayed as,

for the first time in my life,

despite being a frequent church-goer,

I heard how to be saved by trusting in Jesus as my savior.

Praise God and bless you.

Pasadena, California

I was fascinated by the story of the voyage.

Very good observations.

I am interested in the presentation of your God who is involved in lives.

I am anxious to know so I think I will listen to the life of Jesus.

He seems to be the central character.

New Delhi, India

I love the story about the ship voyage.

This is my first introduction to the Bible.

I will listen to the others.

Prague, Czechoslovakia

Fascinating and very engaging account of the voyage in the Mediterranean.

We are familiar with the currents and breezes, which are described perfectly.

Very interesting presentation of Jesus.

Jerusalem, Israel

The ship journey presentation is a marvel.

Very technical details are presented in a manner which is very enjoyable and gripping.

The Greek knowledge is precise.

I am anxious for the suite!

This is my first religious broadcast to actually follow.

Athens, Greece

Amazement story of this ship with storm and bad event.

Also quite interest about God.

I never had understanding of Him.

Beijing, China

With extreme reluctance I listened to the account of the ship journey

through the Mediterranean.

I was spellbound.

Such a dramatic event and related extremely well.

The teacher gave me many things to ponder.

I am anxious to know the outcome.

Dubai

Very excellent story of the book of the Acts and the ship journey.

I truly adore knowing about God.

The Voyage to Rome (Part 2)

Murphy’s Law on the Seas

Thank you so much for the second part of the superb account of the ship voyage.

Two of my agnostic friends were enthralled by the story

and were so anxious to hear the second part.

They love this so much they are now anxious for part 3.

I have known them for 20 years.

This is the first interest they have ever shown in the Bible.

Incredibly they said they would like to listen to the life of Jesus.

The knowledge of Greek is absolutely impeccable.

Thessalonica, Greece

Thrillingly story of the ship and bad waters and bad windyness.

Thriller that Jesus my savior and substituter!!!!!!!

Beijing, China

Excellent!

The second part of the ship voyage is even better than the first.

Many here love it.

We are not embarrassed to share!

Dublin, Ireland

The second part of the ship voyage in the Christian book ACTS is

possibly even better than the first.

These are my intro to the Christian Bible which I find most compelling.

Very good story telling.

Jerusalem, Israel

I was so happy to see part 2 of the ship voyage!

I would have never imagined it but the sequel is even better than the first.

Powerful combination of exciting story telling with excellent life lessons

and above all the Gospel!

Perth, Western Australia

I was so happy to see part 2 of the ship voyage.

These are my first experiences with the New Testament.

I enjoy the lessons very much.

Beginning “The Life of Jesus”.

Tel Aviv, Israel

The first lesson on the ship voyage was excellent.

The second part is incredible.

So enjoyable to listen to and yet with powerful applications.

My unbelieving friends love it and are anxious for the finale!

Dallas, Texas

The accounts of the voyage across the Mediterranean were at first very entertaining.

As I continue to listen it is becoming somewhat unsettling because of my religion

and yet I continue to listen.

Likewise I encourage everyone to listen.

This may save my life as it saved those in the ship.

Jerusalem, Israel

The story is wonderment of the ship travels.

Jesus is all for me.

Beijing, China

The lessons on the voyage across the sea are absolutely remarkable.

I was searching for information about sea travel in antiquity

and was delighted to find these.

These are the only religious studies I have ever been able to stand.

Seattle, Washington

The story of the ship journey is almost hypnotic.

I was so excited to discover Part 2 which, incredibly, was even better than Part 1!

This "New Testament" is very interesting.

Jerusalem, Israel

The lessons on the ship voyage are very enjoyable.

This Bible story is the first for me although I had heard of it.

I will continue to listen to other lessons.

Bangalore, India

The Acts: God uses only Defective People #33 -- The Voyage

Blowed my brains!

To learning of the God!

Shenzhen, China

I was just wondering about a comment Johnny made during

the bematos of Christ message (bema1).

It was stated the word "rapture" doesn't appear in scripture

but the word "raptured" does.

It was said that the word "caught up" in 1 Thess 4:17 was the Greek word raptazo.

I'm probably not spelling that right,

but I was just wondering where I could study the Greek more in depth.

I see Harpazo, and Harpagēsometha.

So I was just wondering where Johnny got it from.

If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Las Vegas, NV

Comment made by Johnny:

The specific word in the text is "ἁρπαγησόμεθα"

(It can be transliterated as "arpagnsometha").

This word is the second future passive indicative of the infinitive άρπαζω,

(transliterated as "hraptzado")

The English word “rapture” is derived from the Latin verb (infinitive) "rapio",

which was used in the Latin Vulgate to translate "harpazō" in 1 Thessalonians 4:17.

The Voyage to Rome (Part 3)

Supernatural Delivery to Malta

I am astonished.

The first lesson on the ship voyage was a masterpiece.

Incredibly, Part 2 was better, and now, Part 3 is the best of all.

The story telling is full of drama, and specific personal application is woven throughout the story.

Each of these 3 lessons is appealing to unbelievers. Many are hooked!

Thank you for the Gospel which is stated clearly and frequently repeated!

Montreal, Quebec, Canada

The lessons on the ship voyage in the New Testament book of Acts are outstanding.

This is my first foray into the New Testament and I am very impressed.

I'm considering beginning the studies on “The life of Jesus”.

Jerusalem, Israel

June 2017 letters begin on the next page …

June 2017

The Sea Voyage trilogy is a masterpiece of storytelling, with drama, allusions

and excellent insight and application for our lives.

I am proud to suggest these to my friends.

I have seen nothing but favorable responses,

and these from people who have never had any interest in the Bible at all.

The musical selections are just perfect.

Tacoma, Washington

Jesus.

I am delightful

Beijing, China

Wow, very fascinating accounts of the voyage to Malta!

All of this information is new to me and most informative and interesting.

Nairobi, Kenya

Excellent stories of the ship voyage.

This being my first experience with Bible, I am excited to learn more.

Bangkok, Thailand

The Bible origin series is a veritable masterpiece of scholarship and erudition.

The facility of the Greek language is admirable.

I am pleased to refer colleagues.

Athens, Greece

Marvelous expose of the ship voyaging across the Mediterranean.

My two sisters and two beautiful sisters {i.e. sisters-in-laws}

trust in Jesus as savior as a result!

Strasbourg, France

Excellent stories of the voyage across the Mediterranean Sea.

I could not stop the listening.

I am actually beginning to be intrigued by the person Jesus.

Oslo, Norway

June 2017 letters continue on the next page …

The “Bible origin” series is a masterful work.

The study was so superb that I made the journey from an agnostic to

trusting in Jesus as my savior.

Vienna, Austria

I have had a beloved pet of 11 years recently die.

He was my friend and pal and would like to think he went to heaven or paradise.

What is your take on this?

St Louis, Missouri

Reply:

So sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved pet.

We lost our 11 year-old dog a couple of years ago, so we empathize with you in

the loss of such a close companion.

To be sure, there is solid assurance for born-again Christians who have lost

their pets.

In the "I Thessalonians -- The Rapture" series, lesson #2 "Who will be raptured?

Believers, children, and animals" Johnny reassures you of the joyful reunion we

all will have with our pets that have gone on before us as well as those who are

part of our family now.

I would also encourage you to listen to the Lesson #s 72 & 73 in the "History of

the World" series for a clearer picture of things to come for you and your family

in the Millennial Kingdom.

Kindest regards,

Connie Tatum

The Voyage to Rome (Part 4)

3 Months at Malta, then Rome

The World, the flesh, & Satan: Allegories on Multiple Levels

The story of the ship journey was initially entertaining then disconcerting

as it is forcing me to evaluate my religion.

I hope other persons will comment.

Alexandria, Egypt

Excellent studies of the ship voyage.

They were so intriguing that I dared to begin the studies of Jesus.

Most fascinating.

Tel Aviv, Israel

This teaching will not correlate with what I have learned.

However I continue to listen and others are encouraging me to do so.

Jesus is not what I had expected.

Mumbia (Bombay), India

The excellent stories of the trip across the sea drew me in.

So I listen with great interest to the story of Jesus.

Broke my heart and then repaired it.

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Incredible story talking about the ship.

I was always wanting to hear more of the story!

I in actuality have learn very much of Jesus.

Beijing, China

Bless to every person who has made it so that I,

after my whole life, encounter Jesus

and for my badness is gone.

Seoul, South Korea

The excellent Bible origin series gave credibility for the Acts lessons

and the superb voyage across the Mediterranean.

New valuable information about Jesus.

Lisbon, Portugal

Simple question - is there any other pastor who teaches like this?

I don't think so. There should be.

This should be the way everybody teaches.

Just tell us what the Bible says and what it means to our lives.

Also the Gospel documents are outstanding.

Chicago, Illinois

This is the only teaching like this that I have found.

No hammering,

no telling us what we should be doing,

no guilt trips,

no being afraid of God.

This speaker just teaches us what the Bible says while he remains anonymous –

amazing after all these many years.

I thank God for this ministry.

I highly recommend the documents on what the Gospel is and is not.

Brooklyn, New York

June 2017 letters continue on the next page …

The Bible origin series is the most valuable contribution

to New Testament scholarship

since the peak of the 2 committees.

The knowledge and pronunciation of the Greek language is astounding.

I am so pleased that this scholarly work is presented

so that laypeople can understand

and, most importantly, every lesson contains the Evangilium.

Athens, Greece

Each of the lessons on the voyage to Rome is fascinating, spellbinding.

A masterpiece of literature and a masterpiece of telling the story.

The applications which continue through the stories are perfect for Christians,

and, for unbelievers, there is the faithful teaching of the Gospel

which we have learned to expect from this teacher.

Many are saved weekly!

Iceland

Greetings!

The Bible lessons are amazing.

Very clear. Very easy to understand.

Several groups have formed and many trust in Jesus as being the saviour.

All enjoyed the ship journey messages.

Iceland

The studies of quantum physics were brought to my attention by several colleagues.

Once I saw that the site was a religious site I decided to not pursue it.

However recent new developments

including the reverse nature of time and the determinism

that is clearly present in the quantum Realm

was so puzzling that I decided to listen.

I was astonished.

The speaker gave very clear and reasonable explanations for all of these phenomena.

I, in turn, am recommending these studies to my colleagues.

The religious aspect is actually presented in an interesting and enjoyable manner.

The Voyage to Rome (Part 5)

Jesus’ Math defying Subsistence as

100% God & 100% Man

End of Acts. One word. “Unhindered”

The latest Acts message is the latest in a masterpiece of presentation.

The presentation of the divinity and humanity of Jesus is

the best I have ever heard.

The knowledge of the Greek language provides the basis for the speaker's understanding

and the impetus of the Holy Spirit empowers the message.

Two formerly humanistic colleagues trusted in Jesus as a direct result of this message.

Sparta, Greece

I have followed the account of the journey across the Mediterranean with great interest.

This is my first exposure to the Christian Bible and I am much impressed.

Also I have learned about Jesus for the first time.

I am very interested in knowing more about Him.

I will continue with the lessons concerning Him.

Very well presented lessons.

Jerusalem, Israel

Excellent and startlingly new and brilliant studies of this book

which I had heard spoken of but was never familiar with.

It is fascinating and piercing.

Teheran, Iran

Bless you and thank you.

I listened to every one of the messages about the exciting trip across the sea.

The story is wonderful and the comments were very strong and powerful.

I listened to each a second time and

was led to understand that Jesus died in my place.

Nairobi, Kenya

The art and music lessons are excellent.

{“Art” & “Music” listings are located in the Index}

And of course, he {the speaker} always presents the Gospel.

My friends love the messages and are open to listen.

Paris, France

Thanking you.

Every new lesson is excellenter than the other.

Hong Kong

Shocking info about Jesus.

I want to learn more.

Thank you.

Dubai

Amazing!

We were forbidden to learn about God.

Then it was permitted but not one was teaching us.

These lessons are wonderful.

So many have learned of God and being saved because Jesus died for our sin.

Moscow, Russia

It seems pretty obvious that the major radio preachers are listening to this site.

Every time a new study is posted they adapt their message.

That is a good thing!
