Respected Chief Justice,

challenging the process of and the list of na)es "nali*ed b+ the
Collegiu) of the Madras High Court for being ele!ated as udges of theMadras High Court. That -rit petition co)es up before the bench
consisting of Mr. Justice .Ra)asubra)anian and Mr.Justice
#.R./i!au)ar.
n 1.2.2015 at about 3 #M, +our 4ordship had in!ited the
ad!ocates of the petitioner association for discussion o!er the sa)e
subect )atter and the oce bearers of the petitioner and )an+ other
)e)bers had )et +our 4ordship in 6our 4ordships cha)ber. 7t that
ti)e, the oce bearers and the )e)bers of the petitioner associationhad a discussion and deliberation o!er the )atter. 8n that discussion,
along-ith +our 4ordship, Mr.Justice .Ra)asubra)anian had also
participated and he had also usti"ed the decision of the Collegiu) and
re9uested the petitioner association to -ithdra- the bo+cott.
:urther, our association also obects the o!errepresentation of the
;rah)in co))unit+ in the udges strength and Mr. Justice
.Ra)asubra)anian also belongs to the sa)e co))unit+.
8n the abo!e circu)stance, it is not proper for the Honble Justice.Ra)asubra)anian to be a part of the bench to hear the !er+ sa)e
)atter in udicial side.
/o, -e re9uest +our 4ordship to post the -rit petition before
so)e other bench so that the -rit petition could be decided -ithout
an+ appearance of preudice.
