    Dear Ms. Lorenz:

As per our conversation this morning, please remove my name from your web site as

the Animal Sanctuary of the United States (ASUS) chairperson effective immediately.

I never gave Ms. Carol Asvestas, WAO president, authorization to use my name and

current employer on any written material or web site. I am stunned to learn that Ms.

Asvestas chose to ignore my request, made at the June 28, 2004 board meeting, and

elected to post my employment information on various web sites without my expressed

    permission.

I am no longer affiliated with ASUS. I tendered my resignation at the Emergency

Board Meeting on January 7, 2006. I called this meeting due to numerous allegations

pertaining to the inappropriate use of charitable funds and inadequate animal care. It was

my intention to bring these issues to the board in order to resolve the situation as soon as

possible. Since the board of directors refused to address these serious allegations, I

elected to remove myself from the ASUS/Wild Animal Orphanage and all associated

    dbas.

I did produce the final board meeting minutes as part of my last and final duties for the

Wild Animal Orphanage and sent it to one of the board members. If you would like a

copy, please contact Ms. Asvestas at the ASUS/Wild Animal Orphanage. If you are

unable to obtain a copy from her, I am willing to send you a copy. I also have an audio

tape of this meeting which I can make available to your office, if necessary. Thank you for your prompt attention to this situation.

    Very Respectfully,

    Kristina Brunner
