LETTER OF MOTIVATION

Dear Sir,

I have completed my Masters and have received my M.Sc. degree in

Chemistry from the reputed with MedicinalChemistry and Biochemistry along with other core courses ofChemistry. As per

my strong desire to work in challenging field of applied chemistry and my interest

for working on something which can be helpful for the sake of worldwide scientific

community and humanity, I am highly inclined towards understanding complex

molecular mechanisms of biological phenomena and applying the knowledge for

solution of various diseases and Biological problems.

My future goals involve working in field of drug designing and delivery to the site of

action, which are among one of the most challenging and stimulating area of

todays era. I believe that my observational and analytical skills in combination with

long term exposure of studying Science, endow me with ability to understand

biomolecular mechanisms along with their macroscopic consequences.

Being a student of chemistry and having studied different sub branches, I have

gained a concrete knowledge about how molecules interact under different set of

conditions along with the understanding of quantum effects on simple molecular

motions (effects of Temperature, Electromagnetic Radiations and symmetry etc). In

addition the selective course of Biochemistry and Medicinal Chemistry has

contributed in my knowledge of experimental Biochemistry and Biomolecular

processes as well as role of drugs in Biological pathways. I also believe that the

experience with 1 year research project at IIT Delhi brings in me the necessary

teamwork skills.

Sir, I am highly dedicated to apply my knowledge, gathered up until now, in the

practical areas of Molecular Medicine and in learning various tools used for the

similar work, with the best of my potential. My current goals for pursuing PhD in the

field is primarily because of my curiosity for understanding complexity of biological

world thereby assisting in development of drugs and other solutions for various

diseases. I believe that the course will add up greatly for my innovational growth

and help me devise new methods and molecules to solve various biological puzzles

in near future.

I am highly grateful for your kind attention and I will certainly look forward to your
