Jim joined St. Mary’s community aſter rerement from twenty years of faithful service to Mary, Queen of the Rosary and fiſty years as a priest in the Diocese of Worcester. It is our goal with this tournament to take a day to remember a man who was lovingly dedicated to his church, his faith and all those with whom he came in contact. Proceeds from the tournament will directly support St. Mary's Schools which was dear to Fr. Jim. Memorial Day Outdoor Mass Monday, May 27th at 10:30 am in our Cemetery Chapel. If the weath- er is inclement, Mass will be held in our church. NO 8:00 am mass this day A message from Fr. Bill… It is time to apply for the Frank and Kathryn Bartimo Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is based on stu- dent involvement in the parish, at least two scholarships will be awarded in the amount of $300.00 each. A new scholarship is being awarded this year, The Pat Corson Scholarship that is based on need. This scholar- ship is intended for graduating seniors who will be further- ing their education at a college or university, or in the trades or some other form of education. The scholarship is intended for those who may not have access to other scholarships. While church involvement is not a require- ment it will be part of the decision criteria. Two scholar- ships of $1,000.00 each will be awarded. Applications will be available at the doors to the church next week and will be due by June 15, 2019

Jim joined St. Mary’s community after retirement from twenty years of faithful service to Mary, Queen of the Rosary and fifty years as a priest in the Diocese of Worcester. It is our goal with this tournament to take a day to remember a man who was lovingly dedicated to his church, his faith and all those with whom he came in contact. MARK YOUR CALENDAR The last day to bring your treasures for our yard sale is Wednesday, May 22nd. You may continue to bring items between the hours of 8:30 am-5:00 pm. Please REMEMBER we are not accepting TV’s, electronics, computers, encyclopedia sets or dictionar-ies, VHS tapes, clothing, luggage and large furniture pieces. These items will not be accepted as there is a cost to dis-pose of them.

There is a real need for volunteers to sort and arrange the items that are being donated . PLEASE consider stopping by the church hall and donating an hour or two of your time to help organize the treasures that are being donated. Many hands make light work!

Additionally, we are looking for donations of un-scratched lottery tickets, monetary donations and Bas-kets to raffle. There are boxes at the church doors in which your tickets and cash can be placed. These boxes are moni-tored on a daily basis. Donations may also be brought to the office.
