Let the Projects Begin! The first Capital Fund project will be leveling some of the tee boxes. This will begin before the summer is over. We are currently obtaining bids for the remodeling of the grill. This is a very exciting time for Eldorado. And we continue to add dollars to the Capital Fund for future projects. All of this is possible because of all the member referrals. Keep them coming!

I have noticed an increasing number of cigarette butts around the greens and in the bunkers, and for those who are trying to kick the habit, there are those lovely square aluminum nicotine gum wrappers. And how about the imprint of the putter on the green building by the 13th green? So while golf might be stressful, try not to take it out on the golf course. Perhaps a little time at the driving range and practice green would help.

Get out and enjoy the pool before the summer is over. And don’t forget to order something from Mulligan’s when you’re there. There are so many things going on at your club. Check out the newsletter (which obviously you’re looking at right now). There’s something for everyone.

See you at the club!

We would like to thank all the members throughout the club who have been stopping and introducing themselves to our New Members and Member Candidates. We really appreciate your help in making our club feel like a home away from home for all our new friends.

A Big Thank You goes out to all the ambassadors for their hard work and dedication and making the club a fun and exciting environment for all new and existing members. To all mem- bers please keep up the good work and let’s continue to make our club the best it can be.

This month our Ambassador Spotlight shins on Meg and Doug Derrybery. The Derryberrry’s have 3 amazing kids, Dylan 21, Jacob 17, and Maddie who is 15. The Derryberry family have been members at the Club since 2006 and enjoy partici-pating in Drink and Drive, be my guest, Martini’s, EWTA, and of course yoga to help keep Doug in shape. Outside the Club, Meg is a labor and delivery nurse and Doug is a money manager. Doug plays with the Smitty group and as far as he can remember, he has never lost a bet to Billy Hyle!
