This is the constitution of the Kingdom I belong to!
This is a living document, capable of transforming my life. The words are spirit and life.
When I read God’s words, I cannot stay the same.
As I read today, I discover hidden Secrets
God’s word is a hammer – it breaks my resistance, A double edged sword – it judges my thoughts and attitude, A fire – consuming what is not right, A lamp and light – showing me the way, A seed –growing in me to bring forth harvest, Food – nourishing my spirit, A mirror – keeping me in check and shape.

Note: Hannah did not get what she wanted, until she made it about God!
Once Hannah received God’s word, she went to eat. (Faith)

Hannah returned Samuel to God, God gave her returns 2:21
+Theme 2: Prayer of Thanks Giving
Hannah already changed her countenance from once she Got God’s word.
Hannah gives heart praise and extols God –rejoices in His salvation.
Praises God for who He is, not what he did.
Hannah shows that it’s all about God!
+ Theme 3: Leaders Wanted!God is interested in leadership, and moves to change it!
Factors that create leadership vacancy – corruption (offering and sex)
His candidates may not follow the normal order! Different Stock, Different practices. 1 Sam 2:18, Phil 3:18.
It gets darkest before dawn, as things Get’s worse, God is growing replacement 2:26
Eli refused to cut his arm off, so he died with it!
+Theme 4: Weak Spiritual Leadership
Could not win his own sons to God.
Weak discipline 2:23-25 –Don’t merely talk about it, cut off the arm that would lead you to hell. 3:13 God expects more from leaders
God always sends his warnings, even from unknown men of God! 2:27, 3:11
Condoned idolatry 2:29
God was not honored!
Was Judged Severely by God 2:27-36
+Theme 5: Transition
Be faithful in Serving God from where you are! Same trainer, different results – YOU!
God would sometimes prepare Samuel in Eli’s House.
When God is ready to move into a new place, He begins to reveal His word to new people!
Samuel Grew! 3:19, 2:26 What God is doing in the earth starts growing in obscurity, and then begins to speak publicly.
Samuel’s first message was judgment!

You really can’t out give God, He gives you what you give Him, so He can give you again and again.
Hophni, Phineas and Eli represent an order of Priesthood that God has departed from and will not get away with sin.
