Giving Music Generously

We believe that everyone should have the chance to participate in music.

That is why we invested over $125,000 last year in need-based student scholarships, and in free and low-cost educational programs, performances, and services to some 6,500+ people in 79 communities in our region.

Our outreach partnerships with public school districts in Fitchburg, Ayer-Shirley, Clinton, and Lawrence help to provide free and subsidized music lessons, band programs, and other learning and performing opportunities to young people in historically underfunded areas. Our free monthly Bach’s Lunch concerts bring together thousands of seniors every year from assisted living facilities and memory care units to socialize and experience the pure joy of live music. Our Threshold Singers, an all-volunteer hospice choir, offer a free service which provides a “spiritual balm” at the bedsides of the very ill.

Need-based scholarships are available to students of all ages for any of our programs. Download an application form online at www.indianhillmusic.org/school, or call (978) 486-9524 to learn more.

Our mission is to share the transformative power of music, through teaching and performing, and giving music generously when there is need.

For more than three decades, Indian Hill Music, a non-profit music education and performance center in Littleton, Massachusetts, has been a regional leader, encompassing a first class community music school, a professional symphony orchestra, and professional concert series, with deep and broad community outreach.
