Lesson plan nº 1

Warmer: 10’

Teacher will make the following questions orally to the whole class. T will mime the questions to check understanding of the words: tight/baggy/slogans and earrings:

What sort of clothes do you like wearing to go to school? Do you like tight clothes or baggy clothes? Do you wear clothes with slogans on them? Do you spend a lot of money on clothes? Do you wear earrings (or an earring)? What’s in fashion among your friends?

After this, students will select the elementary option; they will select the vocabulary option> common adjectives> wordsearch. In this exercise students will do the wordsearch in which they have to find colours.

After this, students will open a word document and they will write the six colours they have found in the wordsearch and are going to add a clothe. For example: A red blouse.

As a rounding off activity Teacher will ask students to describe their partner next to them orally.

Lesson plan nº 2

Warmer: 10’

On the previous lesson students revised colours and clothes. In this lesson students will focus on the revision of “going to”. For this purpose, teacher will write two sentences on BB:

Tomorrow I am going to wear a white blouse and a green t-shirt

T will produce flashcards of a white blouse and a green t-shirt

What are you going to wear tomorrow? What are your plans for tomorrow? T will rephrase orally.

T will point at the sentence on BB and ask a few Sts to check comprehension.

Sts will answer.

In this activity Sts will revise “might “as possibility for the future. For that purpose T will say the following sentences orally and produce flashcards:

“It is cloudy today” T will say pointing at the picture with cloudy weather.

“It might rain tomorrow” “Probably” T will say pointing at the picture with the rainy weather.

“I might wear my raincoat tomorrow if it rains” T will show the flashcard of a raincoat.

After this T will ask Students to access this site:

Students will select the elementary option>grammar>unit thirteen and the first option shown there. In this exercise they will have to find the

extra words. After doing this exercise, they will now select the second option. In this case they will have to click on the right answer for each sentence.

Scrambled sentences

T will divide students in two groups. She will give them six sentences with scrambled words with the grammar topics “going to” and “might”. The group which finishes first is the winner but both groups should read aloud the sentences to win points.

Lesson plan nº 3

Warmer: 10’

In this lesson students will integrate the vocabulary and grammar they have seen throughout the previous two lessons. T will write two examples on BB of “going to”and “might” as possibility for example:

Tomorrow I am going to use a blue t-shirt and white trousers

Or probably I might wear a striped dress. I don´t know yet.

T will elicit sts to produce similar sentences to refresh the structure.

What next: 10’

T will ask sts to bring clothes and act out a short parade showing one of the outfits they are going to wear during their holidays. The idea is that one student will be the host of the parade and will present the others. Each student will describe their clothes themselves.

Host: Let me introduce _________. Oh! Is this your holiday oufit? Can you describe it? Where are you going?

Student: Hello! I am going to______ on holidays and this is one of my outfits. I am going to wear _____ and _______.
