This resource has been created for the use of teachers in a class room

setting. Areas of the curriculum that these lessons meet are detailed at

the back of this lesson plan. The hope is that these lessons will

encourage young people in S1-S3 (or whatever age range of young

people you feel appropriate) to open up and discuss the topics of

death, dying and bereavement. It is inevitable that we will all face some

kind of loss or significant change throughout our life time, beginning

the discussion is just the first step in preparing our young people for

coping with these situations.
