Lesson Learnt  Entrepreneurship Development inputs are essential for all kind of economic ventures     Micro planning & multilevel income & employment opportunities through establishing inter-linkages should be explored for consistent returns (efficient water practices – improved seed- mixed crop-organic manure etc) Productivity enhancement interventions (breed improvement / fodder / animal health care etc) in Animal Husbandry sector & further linkages with market should be established assist the small & marginal farmers in increasing their income      Regular interaction with beneficiaries & facilitators in inter & intra state

What next

     DPIP should make investments only on productive causes which are directly linked with livelihood issues

     Community managed micro finance interventions should be initiated

     Empowered of facilitation team to deliver punctual professional services to communities (Project assessment, appraisal, sanction & execution)

     PRIs involvement      CIGs get advance for Sub Project, Partner organization

should too get an advance against their services (at-least for staff salary) stability of service provider

     Either Vard Sabha should be authorized to settle the CCs or higher community institutions / federations may be authorized in the time coming ahead for the same for recommendation of SP & Settlement

What Next

     Livelihood opportunities should be recognized scientifically broadly on the basis of Detailed Resource Mapping prior to sub Project initiation

     Backward & forward linkages for the core emerging sectors should be spell out to ensure sustained growth of Group Micro Enterprises GMEs and rural economy

 Focus should be on farm sector and investments should be made on land development and increasing farm productivity through downsized technology application at root level

Partnership with R&D institutions for technological interventions in farm & non-farm sector
