Environmental Awareness Survey of Macau Citizens (November, 2011)
1. Students in Macau got the highest score in environmental knowledge and awareness
but failed to put what they know into action. (高分低能 , 知而不行 ) . What makes it so
difficult for them to ‘go green’? Suggest ways to improve this.
2. Macau citizens seldom (i) buy eco-friendly products first (ii) separate home waste (iii) refuse verpackaging. Why? Can you suggest ways toimprove?3. What other actions can we do to help improve the environment in Macau?
