Caleb is playing outside with his soccer

ball, bouncing it on his knee.

Suddenly, his tummy started to jiggle and

bounce and make a terrible grumble. He

knew he was hungry.

I wonder how he will ask his Mum for

some food to eat.

“MUM! I NEED FOOD NOW! I’m hungry!”

yelled Caleb, running through the kitchen.

“Caleb!” said his Mum turning in horror.

Do you think that was the best way to ask

for something to eat?

No, it wasn’t.

Do you know a better way to ask for some

food?

“Mum, can you make me some-

thing to eat?” asks Caleb politely.

“Yes sweetie,” his Mother responded, “I’ll

make you one of your favourite

sandwiches.”

Don’t you think that was a much better

way of asking for something?

That word makes all the

difference. Did you know that even

Jehovah uses the word ?

Now that Caleb got what he asked for

what do you think he should say?
