Lifespan – the number of years he or she actually lives

the US who’s 15 years old today will live?

Summarize Linked to behaviors – men are more

reckless, use tobacco/alcohol, don’t seek medical attention when needed

Women – have support system for stress, go to the doctor when needed, get routine health screenings

Remember – these are just averages, you extend or reduce your life expectancy by the choices you make

how well it works Emotional/Mental Health – has to do with a

Social Health – has to do with relationships with others, including your family, friends, peers and the wider community

Intellectual Health – has to do with your mind and learning

Spiritual Health – has to do with how people find meaning and purpose in their lives
