IEMC (Integrated Emergency Management Course)
The Integrated Emergency Management Course (IEMC) is a 4.5 day exercise-based training activity that places elected and appointed officials in realistic crisis situations within a structured learning environment. The course is designed to improve the City’s response to disaster by allowing key officials to walk through scenarios in a realistic environment. The course exposes participants to emergency management best practices, increases understanding of other agencies capabilities, and identifies areas for improvement.
