H E L L OWe would like to thank you for taking the time to get to know our family. We are Lenny and Samantha. We have been together for 3 years and were married October 2019. Lenny is 29 years old and Samantha is 32 years old. We have a 13 year old daughter named Kailyn.

We are so thankful and appreciative of your decision to choose adoption. This choice is not taken lightly. If you choose an adoption plan, we would feel honored to be considered as a potential adoptive family for your child.

This is our story...We met at an Irish pub in a small Georgia town one winter night in December 2017. We were both busy living our separate lives, just finishing the police academy and a single mother to a 10-year-old daughter.

We lived in different cities but believe fate brought us together that night. It started with a phone number on a napkin that led to seeing each other and hanging out together often after that.

A year later we were engaged while on a family trip to Disney World over Thanksgiving break. We were married the following fall in a small outdoor ceremony. We now live as a family in our first home, still just as crazy about each other!

Meet Lenny...Leonard (“Lenny”) is a very kind, smart guy and works in law enforcement. Lenny enjoys riding motorcycles, reading books, hiking, working on cars and computers, computer games, and playing the piano! Lenny’s favorite color is green and his favorite food is steak.

Lenny says...I am excited about adopting because of how much I have loved being a dad and I can’t wait to add another to our happy home.

I’m looking forward to watching them grow up and experiencing life with them as a family!

Our family is very lighthearted. We’re always joking around and enjoy making each other laugh. I am excited for a little one so we can spend time together and go on walks together!

Meet Samantha...Samantha (“Sam”) works in ABA and loves hiking, camping, running, and shopping! She loves chicken fajitas and watching “This is Us.”

Samantha says...As an adoptive parent, I look forward to watching our son/daughter grow, loving, supporting and cherishing every moment.

I look forward to family dinners together, board games, movie nights, walks through our neighborhood and sharing our lives.

I absolutely love working with children and families. My favorite part of my job is getting the opportunity to love on and play a part in the lives of the kids I meet. I’m also very laid back and love to joke around. There is always laughter in our house. We are a very close family, and also a very understanding and patient family.

Meet Kailyn...Kailyn is 13 years old and loves the colors yellow and pink. She likes to eat “Nana’s” Macaroni and Cheese & Baked Cheetos! Kailyn enjoys ice skating, singing and dancing, playing with animals, swimming, and baking!

Kailyn says...I’m excited about having a little brother or sister so we can play and spend time together! I can’t wait to take them ice skating, sing to them, watch Muppets and Sesame Street, and teach them their ABCs!

Meet Samantha...

Our Home...We live in a metro Atlanta suburb, 5-10 minutes from a few major cities. Where we live allows us to take a short drive to the mountains or a 3-5 hour drive to several different beaches. Living so close to so many major cities offers our family access to city and state parks, walking trails, playgrounds and shopping centers.

We live in a city with one of the best school districts in our area. This was one of the main reasons for buying the home we're in. We want to give our children the best opportunities available. The elementary school is 10 miles from us. Our home is located within a quiet subdivision with friendly neighbors and many younger families with children.

We have a two story, 4 bedroom/2.5 bath home with a big backyard! We love having family and friends over and spend most of our summer days outside and in the backyard.

I am the middle child with three siblings (one girl and two boys). I grew up very close to my family. We took vacations and spent a lot of time together. We moved a lot when I was younger, with my dad working for the YMCA. I participated in sports growing up like cross county, football, and lacrosse. I also participated in programs at the YMCA and enjoyed skiing. I was born in Pennsylvania but spent most of my time growing up in Massachusetts.

Both my mother and father are from Pennsylvania and have been together for over thirty years. My parents both worked for the YMCA and met in Arizona on a work trip. My father later retired as the CEO/President of a large greater-metro group of YMCA's. My parents live less than 10 minutes from our house, are very involved and and are always willing to babysit. My parents also just recently bought a condominium in Florida, and we look forward to many years making memories together as a family.

My older sister lives in Colorado with her husband and two children. My older brother is an entrepreneur and lives in Georgia. My younger brother is in medical school and lives in Massachusetts. he is a year younger than me so we spent our childhood growing up together.

Samantha's FamilyI am the second oldest of five children (four girls and one boy). I also have five step-siblings (two girls and three boys) which is a total of ten when we're all together! Although my parents are divorced and both remarried now, they are both incredibly happy and our home as kids was a very close and loving home. Our parents always encouraged each of us to follow our passions whatever they were.

I was born in Central Florida, my dad is from Miami and my mom is also from Central Florida. They met while in college attending Florida State University. Although we moved a lot growing up with my dad working as an Engineer, I spent the majority of my childhood in Tennessee and Georgia.

Both of my parents live within an hour from us currently. My older sister works as a Graphic Artist in California. My younger brother is an Engineer working in Atlanta. My younger sister recently moved to Chicago to pursue her career in the arts, and my youngest sister lives nearby with my mom, but will be graduating High School and beginning college soon.

Although our lives have taken us to different locations, we are all still very close and keep in touch regularly! My family is incredibly supportive of our decision to adopt and my parents can not wait to be grandparents for the second time. They have each already been the most wonderful and involved grandparents, aunts and uncles to my daughter, currently their only grandchild, and are looking forward to having that opportunity again!
