Why - CSR
The Companies ACT 2013, passed by the Government of India and in effect since 1st April, 2014 defines the CSR Law. According, to Section 135 and Schedule VII of the Companies Act, CSR Law is applicable on companies with the following threshold limit.
- Net worth of the company to be INR 500 crore or more; - Turnover of the company to be INR 1000 crore or more; - Net profit of the company to be INR 5 crore or more
The companies have to spend 2% of their Net Profits in CSR activities.
Estimates indicate that CSR commitments from companies can amount to as much as INR 20,000 crores

Objectives:
Ÿ To Sensitize youth towards social issues and the resultant problems being faced by the rural population which constitutes about 70 % of our populations
Ÿ To Contribute to Rural development by creating awareness amongst the villagers, about day to day issues to improve quality of life.

Ÿ Organizing workshops, demonstrations, film shows, interaction, awareness program, etc. with involvement of local people
