Current Employment Oceaneering International Services - Conoco Phillips Teesside In my current role at Conoco Phillips I am required to undertake inspections of welding using the MPI, DPI & radiography methods as well as the NDT inspection surveys of registered pipework, vessels & storage tanks as per client’s specified standards across a number of different programmes such as RBI’s, CUI and fabric maintenance. Also responsible for the completion of visual inspection surveys of registered pipework and associated components including: Coating condition of pipework, valves, instrument fittings, flanges & bolting, pipe supports, insulation & piping dead legs as per client’s written scheme of examination and to provide a completed comprehensive technical reports for all of the above inspections. All inspections completed were undertaken with a working knowledge of API & ASME standards. Previous Oceaneering International Services - North Tees & Wilton International Site, Stockton & Immingham branch Throughout my employment with OIS I have worked on several sites throughout the UK including SABIC North Tees Aromatics, BP Hull & numerous sites located at Wilton Chemical & Wilton International such as LDPE, Lotte Chemicals, Olefins & the power station. Roles & responsibilities varied throughout but were generally the NDT inspection surveys of registered pipework, vessels & storage tanks as per client’s specified standards. Visual inspection surveys of registered pipework & associated components including thickness surveys & weld Inspections using MPI, DPI & radiography. Career Summary Gained experience in Oil, Gas & Petrochemical related process & Inspection industries both on site & in workshops. I also have visual inspection experience of pressure systems, vessels & pipework during plant overhaul & maintenance Inspection programmes. Ability to read isometric drawings, P&ID’s & a good knowledge of basic plant processes and equipment. Ability to submit a comprehensive technical inspection report. Fully conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel & other Microsoft programmes. Experienced in the use of NDT techniques (UT/Radiography/MPI/DPI/PMI) as well as being familiar with & assisting in some specialist inspection techniques such as IRIS tube inspection, digital radiography, eddy current, LRUT, metallurgical replication & the witnessing of hydrostatic pressure testing.
