– Everyone submitted, I hope that you had mentors review– LaMargo will send edited back to you & submit for printing– Jackson had caption overlay figure.– Cindy A (FNAL duplicating) will tell when/where to pick up– Rosa will get ANL posters for me to give to ANL LTIs

• Monday, Aug 6, 9:30-noon in Dungeon– rehearse presentations

• Wednesday, Aug 8, 2-4:30 PM – presentations at ANL– Building 401 = APS, Room A5000– Remember ANL Gatepass letters, ID, passport/visa info

• Thursday, August 9, 3-5 PM, WH2X – posters at Fermilab– Setup by noon, takedown by 6 PM

• Friday, August 10 – last day of LTI program– Final Reports due to mentors before you leave– ID cards to mentors or to me or to Key & ID office WHGF

– we’ll come after you to get your ID card back! – don’t forget Timecards if you want to get paid for final week– Just got info on checking out of apartments today– LTIs weren’t drivers of rental cars, so no issue here

• I hope that you had reviewed your posters with your mentor before submitting to LaMargo – no further chance to change

• Jackson needs change to move caption from cover figure

• Pickup printed from Cindy Arnold in Fermilab Duplicating WHGF NE early next week

• Discuss your presentation with mentor BEFORE our rehearsal on Monday, Aug 6, 9:30 AM @ Dungeon– Dhruv is presenting to his group at NML tomorrow (Friday)

• Give draft final report (no format, no page limit, but remember names, institutions, page #, etc. ) to your mentor for his review, comments, suggestions, before submitting final to your mentor by departure on Aug 10.

• 10 minute presentation (TIMED!) + 2 minutes for Q&A– typically allow ~ 1 minute per (non-trivial) slide– Include page numbers for reference by audience– we will rehearse the timing too, on Monday, Aug 6

Getting to/into/from Argonne• Linda Spentzouris says, Remember: You need to bring

all your documentation to be on the safe side. For those on F-1 VISA, I think this means passport, I-20, and F-1 VISA. Bring whatever papers you have, or risk not getting into Argonne

• Dress neatly for presentation and posters

• Be sure to be at ANL visitor center by 1:30 PM to get visitor badge and to get to Bldg 401 Room A5000

• Dhruv, Hieu, Anil should let me know if they need rides Fermilab 12:45 (pickup points?) => ANL => apartments
