technical detailsThe HBX range is designed to be a powerful, yet compact, with ease of installation in mind. The standardbracket can be used for suspended and roof/wall mounting. Installation is optimised with the use of easy toopen clips and no tools are required to open the driver compartment. The cable connectors are spring clipoperated. Custom mounting brackets can be ordered if needed.

The housing is manufactured from a range of materials, stainless steel (3CR12) and epoxy coated. The opticsoffers more vandal resistance than glass and the entire fitting is manufactured to the SANS 605-98 standard forsafety. Note:

1. Installation lamp shade: Firstly loose the screws ①②③④,set the lamp shade hole ③④⑤⑥correspondingly to the four

screws, then spin the lamp shade anticlockwise to assure it, tighten the bolts finally; ( as Pic. 1 )

2. Installation hook: Screw the hook into hole clockwise ①. ( as Pic. 2 )

3. Installation the protection screw: Screw M4*16 into hole ②, assure tighten it well. ( as Pic. 3 )

• Installation should be done by professional electricians.

• Please make sure all power is turned off before installation completed.

• Please ensure the power supply wire grounding is normal.

• Please ensure the hook tighten well.

• When connecting wires, don’t make any frictions or drop off the product, otherwise will cause damage.

• Be sure to install the lights correctly, the power cord bare wire must be connected with insulation protection.

• When connecting wires, should clearly know Neutral wire , Earth wire and Live wire to assure safety. After examination,

switch on.

• Don‘t cover anything on or touch the emitting section and the heat sink during lighting.

• The luminaries should be positioned so that prolonged staring into the luminaries at a distance closer than 3 m is not

expected”.

• Luminaries has two degrees of protection provided: IP65 for LED module part, IP20 for another parts.

Power Supply Connect Caution

1. If the Power cord of this luminaries is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or

a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

2. Non –user replacement light source :"The light source contained in this luminaries shall only be replaced by the

manufacturer or his service agent or a similar qualified person."

3. A wiring device shall be provided for connection to a branch circuit. The wiring device shall be rated for the temperatures,

locations, voltage, and current encountered during normal operation.

• Maintenance

1. Please make sure all power turned off before maintenance.

2. Clean the shade surface periodically, to keep good reflectivity.

3. Clean the lamp heat sink periodically, to keep good heat dissipation.

4. Clean with dry cloth, don’t use water or corrosive liquid.

5. When replace driver, connect the wires as follows: AC Power supply three core wires, connect power input : brown line

connect with the "L", blue line connect with the "N" , yellow-green or yellow line connected into the lamp body of insulation.

Light source lead to connect power output: the red connection with the light source is the positive (red line), the black

thread and the light source cathode (black line), positive and negative must not be connected wrong.

Installation instructions for CP range of corrosion proof IP65 fittings

• Make sure stainless steel mounting clips are fitted in alignment with each other i.e.

straight and most importantly LEVEL

• Press fitting body into mounting clips

• Ensure power is switched off

• Open fitting and remove gear tray

• Bring power cable into fitting through gland supplied and connect to gear tray

terminal block

• Clip gear tray back onto body

• Insert fluorescent tube(s) into Lampholders

• Switch on power and ensure fitting lights up

• Mains power to be 230V AC 50Hz

• Fit diffuser onto fitting using the side clips

Retrofi ng a CCG luminaire accord. IEC 62776 Dr - Very easy and safe installa on of Subs TUBE - The luminaire can s ll be used for fluorescent lamps when the normal starter is re-installed. - The cer fica on of the luminaire remains valid - Losses of CCG are significantly reduced to usually ~1W

Direct Wiring - Rewiring of luminaire necessary! The installa on must be done by Qualified Electricians only and all

security precau ons described herein must be followed - Responsibility of technical and safety consequences of the converted luminaire is shi to the party

carrying out the conversion. - Conformity with all applicable legal requirements must be assured for the rewired luminaire and

compliance with all relevant safety requirements and other technical standards (e.g. acc. To DIN VDE 0701-0702) must be established

- The converted luminaire must be given a new type plate. - The converted luminaire must not be operated with fluorescent lamps r rewiring. - The installer becomes the legal responsible for the converted luminaire.
