T I P S & T R I C K STry out these supplies and techniques (clockwise on

the cover) when working with leather:

1. Leather paint is great for coloring large surfaces.2. Stamping tools & chisels come with multiple tips, allowing for a variety

of designs and textures.3. Hole punches create slits and holes for decorative stitching and sewing

layers together.4. Wet molding and stretching around a mold (held in place with clamps

until dry) allow for 3D shapes.5. Leather dye pens (they’re fast-drying and water resistant) can be used

with stamps and stencils or freehand drawing.6. Burnishing helps fuse layers of leather together and gives edges a

professional finish.
