The application assigned to us was to create a simple interface with a simple txt message saying hello world. The professor excelled in teaching the material and covering all aspects of the topic to enable us to grasp the new coding aspect. The problem I faced in the beginning was the installing and initiating the eclipse along with the java emulator, I kept facing problems as the program wouldn’t respond. Later though, with the professor’s help I was able to accomplish the task and start the coding process. The coding process being as simple as it is requires a lot of practice, and this is what I plan to do in the near future. I also would love to explore new ways to implement the features I couldn’t create in my app using app inventor.

Reflection on what was learned Plans on what to do next

During the lecture today we were introduced to the concept of creating an android application using Java and XML in eclipse mars.
