COMMERCIAL SALES AND MARKETING SKILLS NEGOTIATION SKILLSThis course will help participants to refine their personal skills and behaviours as negotiators. We will also support the development of their negotiating strategies and approaches to complex negotiations. Dealing with difficult situations and overcoming interpersonal conflict will be a major part of this practical and participative course.

No formal qualifications or marketing experience are required to join the course, but you will need good command of the English language to Level 2 standard.

You will develop your skills in double-entry bookkeeping and gain a grasp of management and administrative processes. No formal qualifications are required to undertake this course, however, you must have a good understanding of the English language and excellent numerical skills toLevel 1.

ACCOUNTING DIPLOMA - LEVEL 3 (AAT) **

This course covers: Recording income and expenditure. How to make payments, prepare ledger and trial balances, using both paper and computerised systems. How the accountancy function supports a business and fits into its structure e.g. end of year accounts. Costing, financial accounting and working with VAT and Professional Ethics in Accounting and Finance. This course is suitable for anyone who has an AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting and wants to continue their studies towards becoming an accounting professional.

BOOKKEEPING CERTIFICATE - LEVEL 1 (CITY & GUILDS) **

You will learn how to understand and complete financial documents such as invoices and credit notes, record cash and credit transactions in books of original entry, prepare bank reconciliations, use a petty cash imprest system, and produce trial balances. To complete this course you should have good numeracy and communication skills at Entry Level 3 or equivalent.

This workshop will identify which process you have for developing and supporting those who have the potential to fulfil your key business and leadership positions in the years to come.

This course is designed to support anyone in a coaching or training role who wishes to develop or refresh their training skills. You will learn about the fundamental skills based on planning, delivering and evaluating effective training sessions for your employees.

UNDERSTANDING MENTAL HEALTH

Investing in mental health awareness training demonstrates that you, as an employer, support your staff in this area of concern. It enhances the delivery of your business and the service you provide by reducing absenteeism and turnover, and increasing employee engagement. A knowledge-only Award for those who need to know about assessment but who are not currently practicing e.g. aspiring assessors or those involved in a training/learning role.

ASSESSING COMPETENCE IN THE WORK ENVIRONMENT AWARD - LEVEL 3 (TAQA)

For Practitioners who assess the achievement of competence in a work environment using the following assessment methods: Observation, examining work products, oral questioning and discussion, of others (e.g., witnesses), learner statements and RPL (recognised prior learning).

ASSESSING VOCATIONALLY RELATED ACHIEVEMENT AWARD - LEVEL 3 (TAQA)

For practitioners who assess achievement in vocationally-related situations e.g., classrooms or workshops and who use the following assessment methods: assessments in simulated environments, skills tests, oral and written questions, assignments, projects, case studies and RPL (recognised prior learning).

This qualification is designed to provide: The knowledge, understanding and skills learners need as an introduction to counselling. An education and training for those who may use counselling skills when working with others. An opportunity for learners to gain a nationally recognised qualification to assist in entering employment in fields working with people. Opportunities for learners to develop skills and techniques, personal qualities and attributes essential for successful performance.

The BTEC Level 3 Diploma offers an engaging programme for those who wish to further explore theories and practices in counselling skills and consists of five mandatory units: Developing Counselling Skills. HR PRACTICE (CIPD)

To do this course you will need to have achieved either the CIPD Foundation Certificate in Human Resources Practice, the CIPD Foundation Certificate in Learning and Development Practice, or an equivalent qualification.

AWARD IN UNDERSTANDING THE PRINCIPLES AND PRACTICES OF INTERNALLY ASSURING THE QUALITY OF ASSESSMENT - LEVEL 4 (TAQA)

A knowledge-only Award for those who need to know the theory and knowledge about internal quality assurance but who are not carrying out quality assurance themselves.

AWARD IN INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE OF ASSESSMENT PROCESSES AND PRACTICE - LEVEL 4 (TAQA)

For practitioners who lead the internal quality assurance process and have a responsibility for managing the quality of the assessment process and practice and the performance of assessors. They may develop systems and lead on visits from outside agencies such as awarding organisations.

CISCO is one of the leading manufacturers of networking devices. BASIC CONTRACT LAW

The course provides a full introduction and update on business contract law. It gives you the skills to ensure you avoid contract pitfalls, do not enter into contracts without realising your documents, heads of agreement or letters of intent, are legally binding, teaches you have to avoid the ‘battle of the forms’ and how to secure clauses within your contract which protect your business. The course takes you through all the major areas of contract law from warranties and indemnities to limitation of liability, from how to draft the agreement to ensure performance and termination rights.

CORPORATE GOVERNANCE
