At Ark Victoria Academy our values: 'Ambitious, resilient, kind' reflectsthe ethos of our school. We know that all children can and will achieve

success and our staff work hard to nurture, support and provide challenge,to make this a reality.

In these unprecedented times we, as a school have had to adapt bypreparing remote learning online for our students. MS Teams will be usedas our main platform for communicating with students, to share resources,set assignments and give feedback.

In addition we have also provided a range of resources that will help anddevelop our students such as GCSEPod and SENECA learning. To ensureyour child is ambitious you as a parent can join a GCSEPod webinar andfind out how you can use it to support your child's learning, as well asgetting tips and guidance on effective home learning practices.

Seneca learning have conducted a wealth of research shows that showsparental engagement significantly improves student outconies. Their parentplatform is free to use and allows parents to monitor how their children areusing Seneca. Parents can see statistics on their child's performance, justlike you can in the teacher platform.

The parent platform also benefits teachers, as it makes communicating withparents over excellent work, missing homework, changes in a students'work, or outstanding assignments, much easier.

If you are uploading a document, follow the guide that is in section 1 as uploadinga document from a phone or tablet is the same process. However if you have pieceof written work that you need to upload, you can use your tablet or phone to takea picture of your work. My CoursesChoose a subject area to view a list of upcoming examsrelevant to your school. Select to view a playlistcontaining all the pods relevant to that exam.

PodsBrowse pods by subject and topic area. Once you've chosena topic, watch the Pods online, star your favourites ordownload the whole playlist for offline viewing.

PlaylistsWatch the playlists you've created on the GCSEPod websiteand access a quick link back to the website where you cancreate and edit your playlists.
