Analysis
What values and philosophies are reflected in the teacher's response?
The values I reflected in my observations were to learn with excellence,
proper motivation and guidance and appreciate skills in order to improve the
lives of the learners. Most philosophies were progressivism and essentialism that
were very relevant to the subject.
What are the common values, beliefs on interviewed teachers that helped them to be
successful in teaching?
The teacher wants the students to be morally upright citizens, and also apply what they learn in their daily lives.
Reflections
Based on the interview you have conducted; reflect on your feelings and thoughts. Do
you agree or not with the teachers' views? Why? Why not?
“Relating the lessons into the real life situation, appreciates the value of
the lesson” is the one I agreed the most since it enables me to open my mind
that teaching is not only a job but a passion and dedication to my future
students. In the actual teaching, learners wants to relate lessons into real life
situation thus it makes learning easy and more comprehensive.
