INTRODUCTION
We the students of JNV Devarahalli wouldlike to put our sincere efforts to improve thelevel of English of the students studying in our
neighboring schools by extending our helpinghands. They are the state government schoolstudents their standard of English is not up tomark (if compared to us). They are not
provided with the facilities as we are having.So our aim is to bring up their level of Englishas it is essential for everybody in currentscenario.

PROBLEMS
They do not have much interest in English becauseEnglish is not their mother tongue.They are not provided with basic facilities such as
library, English books, newspapers, etc.
They do not know the necessity of English for theirfuture.Their textbooks are designed in such a way that
they learn the alphabets in 5th standard.

SURVEY:
We surveyed the village school & we found
that the students are not knowing even thebasic content words in English . Theirvocabulary is very poor. Due to this they arefacing the problem of inhibitions while
using the language. they could not use the language because of
they are not exposed to the language sincethey are from rural background.

We surveyed the village school we found that thestudents are not even knowing the basic things likewriting alphabets systematically.
The principal of our vidyalaya sent a letter of request tothe neighboring school through our guide teacher.
We gave them our flyer & requested them to attend
our teaching program.We conducted the test there and we found the

CDs,PPTs,Demonstrations,conversations by uson varied topics to teach the students basicEnglish.

In a very friendly way We interacted with thechildren about their real learning difficulty of the
language.We requested the panchayat authorities to help the
school by providing a computer& also to extend their helping hands for this noble
