LeapFILE is easy, secure file transfer for your business.

We make exchanging business-critical files simple and secure for end-users while at the same time making file management easy for IT administrators.

What is LeapFILE?

The web application offers full LeapFILE functionality and basic administrative options for basic users.

• Available for use on all browsers• Allows user to easily send and

receive files like they do normal emails

• Provides access to portals and repositories

Step #3: Choose how you’d like recipients to authenticate in order for them to download the file you’ve sent. This feature allows you to add or remove layers of security as you see fit.

• Verify by email• Custom security question and

user (requires you to create guest user account for them)

LeapFILE gives you a digital receipt of your transfer immediately after you send.

You will also receive email notifications when the recipients open the file and again when they download the file.

To get the Desktop and Outlook Plug-in you need to login to your LeapFILE account via web browser.

Upon login, select the link "Download the latest LeapFILE Desktop Client".

**If you'd like to have the Outlook Plug-in installed, be sure to exit and quit out of Outlook before installing.

Run the installer for the Desktop Client. Both the Desktop Client and the Outlook Plug-in will be installed at the same time.

The Desktop Client makes it easy to send files or see transfers you've made in the past without logging into the web application.

Mircosoft Outlook Plug-in lets you seamlessly send email attachments directly using LeapFILE.

To send a file, simply create an email and attach the file(s) you wish to send. Select, "Send Attachments LeapFILE"

You can also set the "threshold" for file sizes sent via LeapFILE. This means any attachment that exceeds the entered threshold size will automatically be sent using LeapFILE.

*Note threshold settings may also be set by your administrator.

Your company has a Branded File Exchange Site that allows clients outside of your company's LeapFILE account to send files securely to users inside your company.

Outside clients can use "Secure Upload" to send a file or "Secure Download" to receive a file you've previously sent to them. Guest users with Portal access can login from your this site to access the files you have shared with them.

You can find your branded file exchange site URL on the top right hand corner upon logging into the web client.

LeapFILE portals make it easy for you to exchange files with clients outside of your company. You can provision guest users by selecting “Guest User Access” “Add New Guest User”

• Note: You must notify guest users of the user name and password you assign to them manual. LeapFILE doesn’t automatically send them an email.

LeapFILE repositories make it easy for you to share files with users inside of your company.

You can create a repository and grant access to the users you choose. You can revoke this access at any time and they will no longer be able to access that repository.

If you select, "Transfers" in the top menu, you can see all the incoming, outgoing, and drafted transfers you have associated with your LeapFILE account.

You can also see the status of the files you have sent or received.

From the account page, you can: • Change personal settings• Change your password.
