Chris Gaede was a member of German Airforce, German Army and U.S. Airforce. He also holds a Class VII FFL/SOT. As a team member in UTG product development, Chris contributes his law enforcement and military police training experiences to our R&D of products for special weapons and tactical applications. He routinely subjects our products to rigorous torture testing for continuous quality assurance and performance enhancement.

Gary Zemeski was a loyal UTG customer already prior to joining Leapers. He has been an avid target shooter and hunter for almost 4 decades. Every year Gary fills his Michigan deer tags during the archery and firearm seasons. Gary hunts state land where the deer population is in higher state of alert due to hunting pressure. He uses exclusively UTG products to put our hunting scopes through real world experience. It gives him the advantage to make every shot count.

John Kapusta brings with him over 3 decades of firearm industry experience. He has worked with major law enforcement agencies around the country, and trained with elite operators such as FBI, SEALs, and Springfield SWAT team. As Leapers/UTGs in-house firearm expert, he personally puts our products through stringent testing on some of the most punishing rifles and shotguns to constantly raise our products quality and durability levels.

Nick Till is a well accomplished competitive highpower match shooter. His victories include the 2012 John C. Garand Rifle Match at Camp Perry, the coveted DuPont Trophy and the National Service Rifle Championship in addition to the 2007 Army Cup Trophy. Nicks accumulated experience with precision shooting is invaluable and his input is very instrumental to our optic innovations.

Tom Gaylord has been evaluating and writing about airguns for over 20 years. His articles appear regularly in all major magazines. Tom has been a mentor providing our PD Team with very insightful lessons and development suggestions since 1999. He is shown here testing a Leapers 3-9x40 Full Size TS Scope on a Webley Patriot that generates as much as 30 ft-lbf when shooting the heaviest pellets. 750 shots were fired with 100 shots per session. This demonstrated the unrivaled strength of our scopes that endured the two-way recoil which easily bruises the shoulder of careless shooters.

Leapers always listens to customers earnestly. Customers' encouragement and input has been an important force behind our product design and development efforts. Our consistent attention over the years led to our decisive move to incorporate the mil-dot and many other reticle designs into a wide variety of scopes we offer.

Bubble level reticle includes a precision built-in bubble leveling system. The internal bubble leveler is located at the bottom of crosshair with the least Field of View impediment. It is a great tool for precision scope installation/crosshair alignment to deliver the most prominent shooting accuraccy.

TARGET DOT RETICLE

Target Dot reticle consists of a single floating dot in the center as the aiming point with the least visual distraction. It is commonly used for quick aiming applications with lower demand for pin-point accuracy. The shooter aims by pointing the dot on the target. For Leapers riflescope, the dot size is about 4MOA.

BUBBLE LEVEL RETICLE

CIRCLE DOT RETICLE

Circle Dot reticle includes a floating circle and a dot in the center. The circle draws the eye to the target and the dot indicates the exact aiming point. Circle Dot reticle is ideal for shotgun shooting, turkey hunting, fly hunting as well as tactical applications which require quick target acquisition.

PRO 5-STEP RETICLE

Pro 5-step reticle is designed for crossbows, but can also be used in other applications such as rifles, airguns, etc. The reticle consists of five horizontal lines and a vertical line. And there is a thin crosshair in the center. If used on crossbows, the horizontal lines are for aiming at 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50-yard distances. The lines are calibrated for 300fps crossbows. The user needs to find out the exact yardage of each line during zeroing process.

Complete retiCle DeSiGnSPRO 4-STEP RETICLE

The new etched Crossbow reticle comes with 3 horizontal lines and 4 floating points. Only the middle floating portion is illuminated with either red or green when the EZ-TAP 36 color illumination is turned on. The 3 horizontal lines with floating points in the middle are for shooting at 20, 30 and 40 yards. The Free Floating (4th) point is for shooting aiming at 50 yards.

MIL-DOT RETICLE

Mil-dot reticle is the most widely used reticle on Leapers riflescopes which provides range estimating capability. The crosshair reticle has multiple dots spread equally apart on the lines in the central area. The distance between two adjacent dots is designed to be 1 milli-radian or 3.44MOA at 10X.

The regular mil-dot reticle on the market usually has 4 dots on each direction. Leapers scopes usually has 7 or 9 dots on each direction to provide more flexibility in range estimating. Using mil-dot reticle with 9 dots on each direction as an example, if you count the 2 inner tips of the opposite crosshairs, there are 19 aiming points or totally 21 including the inner tips.

Scope not disassembled, parts/screws not removed or loosened, and the scope not tampered with in any way

Scope not abused, maliciously damaged or treated in a manner not in keeping with the purpose it was designed for

Shock ProofWe build our own big hammer striking machine and vibration table to test scopes. Scopes are put on the striking machine and take the shock of 500G for thousands of times, not only surviving physically but also holding the zero within 1MOA.

Fog ProofOur scope is filled with dry nitrogen and completely sealed by high quality rubber o-rings. All the moving parts including the eyepiece, objective, power selector ring and knobs have dual o-rings for smooth adjustment and long-term sealing. Fog will never build inside the scope. If moisture or dirt exists on the outside of the lens, wiping with the included cleaning cloth will restore the clear view.

Rain ProofAll our scopes are made with 1-piece main tube and all the moving parts are sealed with high quality rubber o-rings. Moisture wont be able to enter the inside of the scope. All the exposed parts bear wear-resisting and anti-rust finish. The scopes can be used for all weather hunting.

Accessories IncludedEach of our scope models is configured with essential accessories. As a package, based on various application considerations, a scope may be comboed with either quality rings of an appropriate profile height, integral or detachable sunshade or well designed/made QD mounts. We continue to explore the technology of internal built-in bubble leveling system. This year we are excited to introduce our next generation precision target scope equipped with advanced internal bubble leveling system along with our redesigned precision audible fingertip adjustment W/E knobs.

Our best answer to the request is our newly developed scout rifle scopes, not only offering great eye relief up to 8" to accommodate all new and historical scout rifle applications, but also featuring breakthrough wide angle field of view with amazing optical clarity for ultimate shooting satisfaction.

With its already popular design, broadband multicoated lens and wide range of parallax adjustment, these new scopes further incorporate the low profile, finger-friendly EZ-TAP control for the most flexible illumination system adaptable to any environment and situation.

Continuing the success of our dot sight line which was applauded by customers for its satisfying performance, cool tactical look and application-oriented features, we are introducing new 3.5" and 2.0" EZ-TAP Open Reflex Sights. Compact, slick and, most important of all, these well-built Open Reflex Sights keep you aware of your environment and situation while assisting your precision aiming with quick and smooth operations.

Our product development/testing team spent 2 full years to develop our unique prismatic scopes with most distinctive features. The new T4 Scopes are made with one piece integral aircraft grade aluminum body, lockable windage/elevation knobs with robust recoil erector return spring to guarantee precision adjustments and consistent zero accuracy. Our unique gooseneck lever lock QD mount further provides comfortable eye relief compensation for all modern tactical weapon platforms. Etched glass circle dot for most demanding CQB operations, or the mil-dot reticle for accuracy aiming to neutralize hostile elements.

Flip-to-side magnifier gives user the flexibility and ability to switch between quick aiming and accurate aiming in a second. Our new 3X and 4X FTS magnifiers are upgraded with precision windage and elevation adjustment functionality and reinforced flip-to-side mechanism for better alignment with variable dot sights, and zero retention ability under repeated usages.
