The Leading Entrepreneurs Acceleration Program (LEAP) is a start-up incubating program with the objective of sparking innovation by allowing the candidates to experience the process of living, working and thriving in an international multicultural context.
In previous years, LEAP has launched start-ups in industries such as F&B, sports, jewelry, automotive, medical, security and construction. LEAP is not a simulator; it’s a real exercise in real time that creates companies that address the real problems of a highly competitive world by turning good ideas into great start-ups.

Within �ive years China’s middle class will exceed 600 million, nearly twice the size of the U.S. population. In 2016, the size of the China retail market was nearly $5 trillion, virtually the same as the U.S. and is expected to be 11% larger by 2020. China has the highest share of e-commerce sales to total retail sales in the world. E-commerce sales are expected to exceed 1/3 of all retail sales in China by 2020, when 60 cents of every dollar spent online globally will come from China’s consumers.
Shanghai will be the setting for experiencing these opportunities �irst-hand; a city that receives around 400,000 international students from over 200 countries every year; the city's young and multicultural personality is the perfect hub for fostering innovation. Global e-Commerce Training (GET)LEAP allows its candidates the exclusive opportunity to receive a training on the sale and distribution of products into the largest online consumer market through the biggest E-commerce platform in the world.

You will need to have a clear vision of the social, economical, political and cultural situation of the regions where your business will operate; respecting and pro�iting from diversity. You will understand the importance of cultural differences in business and to manage your relationships around them, successfully adapting in foreign scenarios while being able to thrive in them.
Ethics and SocialResponsibilityOrientation You will be able to re�lect, analyze and evaluate ethic dilemmas related to you own self, your profession and your environment.
CertificationCandidates who accomplish the program’s objectives will receive a certidicate of Completion with curricular value and an of�icial transcript from the Chinese host University with the evaluation grades for two courses that could be validated in the candidate’s home University.
How does it work?
Prework & Follow UpA month before the program, te candidates will 3 sessions of 3 hours each. This session will prepare them for the experience and set them on the right path of the projects. Globex with their 15 years of experience in China will be part of this process, validating their products giving the candidates a higher chance of success by the end of the program.
The candidates who successfully complete the program will become fellow LEAPERS and join an international community of young successful entrepreneurs that aren’t limited by their circumstances but instead pro�it from them to create ideas with value.
Upon presenting their �inal pitches at the closing ceremony, they will be able to book private meetings with representatives from trading companies focusing in similar industries and geographical regions so they can give a proper follow-up to the projects they consider are ready for the next step.

The program is designed in a way that takes advantages from both theoretical and practical methods of learning. The model immerses the candidates in a hands-on environment where knowledge is gained not only through professor-led seminars but also interactive and challenging experiences. Coaches and professors will inspire candidates to complement their scienti�ic and technical information with empirical knowledge and a socially responsible formation.
In this context, the candidates will be able to discover, analyze and apply relevant knowledge outside of a University classroom in an environment designed to nurture the learning process and develop the necessary soft skills that are vital for the pro�ile of tomorrow’s leading entrepreneurs.
Global E-commerce TrainingAlibaba Business School, in cooperation with China Campus Network, has developed the �irst international certi�ication in the industry that is ushering a new era for innovation and global progress; Cross-Border E-Commerce. A series of workshops and conferences will introduce the students to the importance of understanding the digital economy that is driving the way business will be done in the near future.
