Briarfield Careers [email protected] Lean Engineer This Lean Engineer position will take place in a manufacturing facility where you will be responsible for identifying waste, reducing downtime and increasing overall efficiency through using Lean tools to problem solving and process improvement. This will be accomplished through working in a team environment and driving the changes through others. Responsibilities Manages all phases of assigned projects including spending control, fund tracking, and close-out. Leads cross-functional teams in the execution of Continuous Improvement projects. Leads Lean, Kanban and Kaizen events. Line balance Quick change over Root cause analysis Waste evaluation and elimination Performance analysis between shifts Requirements Bachelor degree (or higher) required in area of discipline Mechanical or Industrial, or Engineering preferred 3+ years’ experience in an Engineering or operations role in manufacturing Qualifications Must be very flexible, able to work on multiple projects at one, and switch priorities with little advance notice Demonstrated experience in Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Knowledge of mechanical and manufacturing or packaging processes. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
