Maintenance outsourcing (electrical and mechanical)

While most maintenance suppliers are content to confine their maintenance services to delivering acceptable levels of service, Toga Engineering has developed a comprehensive service concept that makes maintenance operations a significant contributor to plant profitability. Currently in operation on multiple sites in a variety of process industries nationwide, Toga

engineering maintenance service is a unique partnership agreement in which Toga engineering

and the customer jointly defines the maintenance targets and shares the rewards of success.

Project management (electrical and mechanical)

Project Management is the use of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to plan and implement activities to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations from a project.

Electrical compliance (electrical)

Electrical compliance is a legal requirement for all premises that make use of electricity. The compliance of an electrical installation is regulated according to SANS 10142-2. These regulations ensure that the installation is safe for use by the user.

Designing a good project is easier said than done! In the development community, evaluations have identified the following primary causes of poor performance in projects:

Breakdown service (electrical and mechanical)

Toga Engineering offers our clients a 24/7 breakdown service.

Panel design (electrical)

Our panel manufacturing facility caters for panels ranging from Form 1 to Form 4 including panels

for use in hazardous areas. The panels are built from approved electrical panel design drawings,

which detail all components in a parts list, cable schedules and sizes, terminal numbers, etc. All the

drawings are produced using AutoCAD and are capable of being emailed in PDF or original

format. A dimensional drawing of the internal and external panel enclosure with any display or

identification labels, lights, etc., will be fully detailed. The panel design, manufacturing and testing procedures are quality assured by ISO 9001 and SABS standards.

HT / LT Reticulation (electrical)

Toga Engineering can design and implement all HT (high voltage) and LT (low voltage)

reticulation needs that a client may require. We can also service all associated equipment in both the

HT and LT fields.

EXE installations (electrical)

Hazardous locations are areas where flammable liquids, gases or vapours or combustible dusts

exist in sufficient quantities to produce an explosion or fire. In hazardous locations, specially

designed equipment and special installation techniques must be used to protect against the explosive and flammable potential of these substances

Shutdowns (electrical and mechanical)

Toga Engineering offers effective Maintenance Plant Shutdown and Turnaround services. Toga

plays a major role with organizations to achieve a cost effective and time efficient shutdown/turnaround using our process and Maintenance Shutdown Planning Training . This is also obtained by using Toga products and qualified experienced shutdown managers. Using Toga Engineering’s managerial process and procedures, we have delivered substantial savings and

assisted organizations in achieving the results required in successfully planning a project. Our

process (Shutdown Strategy and Shutdown Procedures) has been developed to allow managers,

planners, supervisors, accounting departments and technicians to be part of the process. Our

shutdown Managers will assist your facility in the implementation of our products and services.
