October 23 & 24, 2015
Dear Participant:
As the Director of Leadership Workshop Weekend, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the
first ever Leadership Workshop Weekend here at Kennesaw State University. We are so
excited to spend our day with you.
The Owl Leadership Fellows have spent the last few months planning today’s workshop just for
you. Today you will hear our keynote speaker Chris Bruno, learn about leadership and
yourself, and participate in activities.
I’d like to thank you for attending today’s workshop. Our hope today is that you not only
leave here having learned a little about yourself and leadership as a whole, but get to know
those around you. I encourage you to talk those who are attending with you today and
build connections.
Sincerely,

Thoughts Worth Pondering
Leadership
To know why to do something is wisdom,
To know how to do it is skill,
To know when to do it is judgment,
To strive to do it best is dedication,
To do it for the benefit of others is service,
To want to help others is compassion,
To do this quietly is humility,
To get the job done is achievement,
To empower others to do all of these things is leadership.
