Sudden drain of will to fight and
Sense of being lost in a maddening world
Make him silent before the enemy silenced his voice.
He sang a solo and danced to wild
He roared when he was mum
Walked long miles as he sat in contempt
Advised as he spread his smile
Looked haughty when you become empty
Peeled his anger when you got poured out
He blinked as you stared alongside a crowd and
Kept you at a distance when you ditched people of their trust.
You hailed his wisdom
And the media said he is the future
Thoroughly used him
As a messiah was found in him
Healed thyself with his miraculous touch
Oh my country men
Do you see in him a hero of a skid in broadside?
Thoroughly used up, totally worn out
Bared of all respect and dignity
