The clippings are then propelled to the collector and compressed. The result: a neat, cleanly cut lawn and fewer stops to empty the collector.

Thanks to John Deere�s superior Edge Xtra Mulch Cutting System with its extra round inner corners, clippings are finely chopped and evenly dispersed over your lawn as natural fertilis-er. Smooth rounded deck underside prevents clumping on your lawn caused by grass clipping build-up.

Two rear deck gates (removable without tools) enable rear discharge of excess clippings. On-deck storage position is provided to store the removed gates.

The two blades are offset to permit blade overlap with use of a low-wear v-belt drive and ensure that the blades cannot contact each other. An outstanding cut quality is thus achieved.

No side-discharge chute enables trimming on both sides.

The air ß ow in the deck lifts the grass prior to cutting. Smooth underside prevents grass build-up in the deck and on the lawn.
