INTERESTS AND ACTIVITIES• Founder and Secretary of Northumbria University Extreme Sports Society• Competetive Downhill Mountainbiker and avid Road Cyclist• Surf, Golf and follow rugby regularly • Lover of choral music, singer and trumpet player• Completing last section of my Duke Of Edinburgh Gold Award• 1991 Fiat Panda. Having rebuilt the ‘banger’ and repairing a multitude of
problems, I set off to Turin, Italy. From giant rust holes to electronics with a mind of their own, this mad project cruised back to its Italian origins, barely skipping a beat during 3500 miles of European mayhem. With copious amounts of WD40 and cable ties, my continued determination proved it could get further than Dover. Safe to say I arrived home with a huge grin.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
March - Sept 2013 Creative Mice LtdDesignInternfor3months,JuniorDesignerthereafter.My time spent at Creative Mice Ltd presented me with an amazing educational opportunity. I learnt the values, techniques and technology required in a fast paced POS/POP business. I started the placement with a basic knowledge of 3DS Max and within 2 weeks was working on live projects. This steep learning curve allowed me to prove my worth, being taken on full time and entrusted to hold the fort on several occasions, until returning to my studies.
Sept 2014 - Present Stage One EventsProfessional Events Photographer. Night Clubs, Bars, Sports, Charity events.Being a photographer has allowed me to develop a passion of mine within a professional environment, whilst communicating with a hugely varied client base. I am responsible for managing event publicity through regular social media and online promotion, each event requiring different editing styles to represent their brand identity. Balancing tight editing requirements alongside my studies has given me valuable experience in multi-tasking.
March 2014 - Present UpCycle BikesFounderI have proven ability to spot the potential in products others may deem to be waste. With my business I hoped to re-engage former cyclists and show them how stylish and cost effective cycling can be. I have formed local contacts to source scrap parts, working with an established charity to shot blast and respray retro cycles to their former glory, but at half the price tag. This invaluable experience has helped me understand how to launch a brand, gain followers, become cost conscious and remain highly motivated. I am proud to have many happy customers from London to Edinburgh.

June - Sept 2014 Halfords CyclesCycle MechanicAs the only qualified store mechanic, I was able to meet and exceed ambitious repair profit targets which had not been achieved for several years. Communicating with customers, explaining mechanical problems and resolving customer complaints, I took our repair department from the bottom of the store profit ranking to close to the top of the national tables.
