t’s possible to change the background of Ma-rio Kart: Super Circuit’s title screen slightly. If you’re able to get a gold trophy on all of the cups across all the difficulties (exclud-ing the Super Mario Kart retro courses) the daytime scene will change to a sunset. If you manage to get a 3-star ranking on all of them as well, the sunset will change to night. An alternative title screen is a common feature in many Mario Kart games but Super Circuit is one of the few to have more than one.Similar to previous titles, Double Dash!! incorporates characters from the Mario series and pits them against each other as they race on different, Mario-themed tracks.

The game introduced a number of new gameplay features, most notably the inclusion of two riders per kart. Double Dash!! supports LAN play using the Nintendo GameCube Broadband Adapter, allowing 16 players to compete simultaneously. There are 20 characters to select from in total, with eleven of them being new to the series. A special item for each character has also been implemented.

Double Dash!! was generally well received by critics; it attained an aggregated score of 87 out of 100 on Metacritic. Reviewers praised the graphics and the new gameplay features, but criticized the voice acting.Yes, Mario Kart 8 has arrived and it looks absolutely divine running at 60 frames per second in high defi-nition. Let’s not forget the 32 tracks, 30 playable racers (including the Koopalings), online play, Mario Kart TV feature and much, much more. We’re going to celebrate the impending release of the latest instalment of the stellar Mario Kart series in the only way we know how...with facts and secrets!

1. Super Circuit Menu Change

It’s possible to change the background of Mario Kart: Super Circuit’s title screen slightly. If you’re able to get a gold trophy on all of the cups across all the difficulties (excluding the Super Mario Kart retro courses) the daytime scene will change to a sunset. If you manage to get a 3-star ranking on all of them as well, the sunset will change to night. An alternative title screen is a common feature in many Mario Kart games but Super Circuit is one of the few to have more than one.Players can choose from a cast of twenty playable drivers. All of the characters have their own special items which are unique to them, like Mario and Luigi with Fireballs, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong with Giant Bananas, Bowser and Bowser Jr. with Bowser Shells, Yoshi and Birdo with Eggs, Peach and Daisy with Hearts, Wario and Waluigi with Bob-ombs, Koopa and Paratroopa with Triple Shells, Toad and Toadette with Golden Mushrooms, and Baby Mario and Baby Luigi with Chain Chomps. Petey Piranha and King Booboth have special abilities.

he eighth version of the game, “Mario Kart 8,” will be available May 30. And from what we’ve seen so far, it looks like a polished, gorgeous addition to the franchise. The game introduces new items and tracks, as well as new features includ-ing an anti-gravity option and the ability

to record, edit and upload highlight reels of your races to Mario Kart TV or Youtube.

But the Magikoopa never appeared in the final version of the game. He was replaced by Donkey Kong last-minute for unknown reasons. Magikoopas, and Kamek in par-ticular, make a few cameo appearances in other “Ma-rio Kart” games. For example, Kamek floats near the finish line of “Bowser Castle 3.” While there are many different lists out there, “Mario Kart Wii” always lands in the top 10. It is, after all, the best-selling kart-rac-ing game of all time. Guinness put “Mario Kart Wii” (33.92 million units sold) behind only “Super Mario Bros.” (40.24 million) and “Wii Sports” (81.5 million), as of September 2013 . As Hideki Konno -- director of “Super Mario Kart” (1992) and “Mario Kart 64,” and producer of “Mario Kart DS” (2005) and “Mario Kart Wii” -- said in an interview with Kotaku reporter Stephen Totilo:

With Mario Kart 64, we wanted to have the same thing where everyone was in it until the end, but some of the processing

problems occurred that didn’t allow us to do that. And what I mean by that is once you’re in a middle of a race you’ll get that natural separation. What we were trying to do was push them back together with 64, having eight racers on the screen all the time, didn’t work all that well. So, because the processing power didn’t exist, we weren’t able to create the racing environment we wanted. There is a Rainbow Road course in every version of the game.

The Game Is On!!

Baby Mario is a major character in the Yoshi series, and he is Mario as an infant. Baby Mario, with Yoshi helping him, is often rescuing Baby Luigi, who is carried off by Kamek in several games. Since then, he has appeared in three other games in the Yoshi series and alongside his older self in several sports spin-off

games. Despite being a baby, he is capable of playing various sports, driving

karts, and even battling en-emies. Baby Mario de-

buts in the Mario Kart series in

Mario Kart: Double

Dash!! alongside his younger brother Baby Luigi. Both are light-

weight characters and both are default. Baby Mario’s default kart is the Goo Goo Buggy. The babies’ special item is a

Chain Chomp, which can lead Baby Mario and Baby Luigi through the course, knocking other karts out of the way. They share their own course, Baby Park, which reappears in Mario Kart DS. Baby Mario appears as a starting playable character in Mario Kart Wii. Baby Mario is still a small character, having a weight of +3 and a handling of +2. His weight bonus, with Baby Luigi, is the largest in the game out of all bonuses, and it grants him a sig-nificant edge when it comes to that stat. Unlike Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Baby Mario does not have his own vehicles, as the other characters, but the vehicles avail-able to him get a different paint job than other charac-

ters. His vehicles are mainly blue and red. Baby Mario and his brother Baby Luigi, star alongside Mario and Luigi

in Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time. Baby Mario and Baby Luigi first meet their adult selves in Hollijolli Village after

the adult Mario brothers have been defeated by Shroobs. They then team up in order to defend Mushroom Kingdom from the

Shroobs. Baby Mario spends much of the adventure riding Mario piggyback. He and Baby Luigi eventually acquire hammers in the

Vim Factory. After traveling throughout the past, defeating enemies, and eventually rescuing Princess Peach, Baby Mario and company stop the

Shroob invasion. Baby Mario, alongside any other character who has originat-ed from the past, return back to their original time period. Prior to returning to

the past, Baby Mario gives Mario his hammer as a good-bye gift. Baby Mario is de-scribed as being mostly brave and courageous just like his adult counterpart, such as when he

constantly rescues Baby Luigi. His Super Smash Bros. Brawl trophy information, however describes him as a crybaby. Unlike his older self, Baby Mario is not a silent protagonist and is actually very talkative. He is also very energetic, as seen as when he wins a race in Mario Kart Wii.

he game continues the traditional gameplay of the franchise, in which characters from the Mario universe race against each other in go-karts,

attempting to hinder their opponents or improve their racing performance using various tools found in item boxes. Returning features from previous in-stallments include motorbikes and 12-player racing from Mario Kart Wii, as well as hang gliders, under-water racing, and vehicle customization from Mario Kart 7.Mario Kart 8’s new features include anti-grav-ity racing, in which certain parts of a track can allow racers to drive on walls and ceilings.During these sections, players can bump into other racers or special bumpers to trigger a Spin Turbo, which gives them an extra speed boost. New characters include the Koopalings, Baby Rosalina, and Pink Gold Peach. New items include the Boomerang Flower,

which can attack racers on its return flight, the Piranha Plant, which attacks nearby racers and obstacles, the Crazy Eight, which gives the user eight items, and the Super Horn, which can be used both to attack nearby op-ponents and defend against items, including the previously unavoidable blue Spiny Shell.Along with local multi-player, Mario Kart 8 supports online multiplayer for up to twelve players, playable with friends or with strangers both regionally and worldwide, with voice chat support outside of races. Players are able to set up tournaments with fully customizable rules and schedules, download ghost data from friends or top players, and receive stamps for use on Miiverse by beating staff times and completing Grand Prix races. Mario Kart TV lets players view replay data from other racers, including rewind and slow-motion playback functionality, and then upload highlights to YouTube.

The game is compatible with the Wii U GamePad, Wii Remote and Nunchuk, Wii U Pro Controller, Wii Classic Controller, and Wii Wheel.[2] Compatibil-ity with the upcoming Amiibo figures has also been announced. Mario Kart 8 Mario Kāto Eito?) is a kart racing game developed and published by Nintendo for the Wii U video game console. It is the eighth main installment in the Mario Kart franchise, and the eleventh overall. It was released worldwide in late May 2014, with 1.2 million copies sold in its first four days, making it the fastest sell-ing Wii U game to date. On June 26, 2014, Nintendo reported sales of 2 million copies in the game’s first month.
