Ever wanted to get your awesome designs out in the retail world, but don’t have the cash, time or resources to do it?

Designed something amazing for University, TAFE or College (got a super high mark) and it’s now sitting in your garage wasting away with the old toolbox?

Well here’s something for you… we’re about to get Launch Initiative Street up and running.

Oh yes indeed we are and what better way to do it than to involve YOU! T

he Brief

Right from its very embryonic stages, we are giving YOU the control over what YOU want to design and wear.

What is so great about Launch Initiative is that this is totally in your hands.

Now we’re putting Fashion Designers and Graphic Designers to the test.

The Brief

Prints can be unisex, male or female and are to be printed on your choice of a round neck vintage tee.

The colours we have chosen for our first season tee’s are White, Black, and Charcoal.

You must design your print to go on one of these colours.There are no restrictions on the colours or amount of colour in your print, you can use as many colours as you like.

Maximum print size is 270mm x 400mm

Design should be confined either to the front or back only. Not on both.

Guidelines and Limitations

Signiture Style

Edgy, urban, young and innovative street style tee’s, inspired by music, surf and skate culture. The idea; to be unique, but to still be in vogue.

We want you to think; Logo Prints, Retro Prints, Vintage Prints, Band Tee’s, Graffiti Art, Mixed Media, Icons, Humour Prints, Classic Prints

What you’ll Win

As the Launch Initiative’s main focus is promoting ASPIRING unknown designers, 10 talented designers will have their T-Shirt prints go into production and will also receive the following:

- Your textile print on the Launch Initiative T-Shirt range

- Your choice of a $100 Gift Voucher for the Online Launch Inititative Store or a year long Designer Membership valued at $155.00

- 5% royalty from the profit sales – minimum of $100

- Your profile and design featured on the website

- COMPLEMENTARY T-SHIRT IN YOUR SIZE

You have until the 17th of November to submit your designs, and then there will be a one week Launch Election voting period.

The top 10 designs with the most votes win. As soon as you send in your textile design, it will go straight up onto the website. This means more exposure of your design before the Election begins.

How It Works

We know you guys want to get your labels out there! But due to us making this competition for FREE, we sadly will not be sewing your label into the tee.

HOWEVER, you guys can feel free to put any of your own logos, label names or signature styles anywhere on the tee. You can make the whole T-Shirt about your label name! Your profile will be uploaded on our website, so anyone who checks us out will know all about you and your label.

Designers Tips

To submit your artwork simply download the submission kit from the resources section of the website. Once you have filled out the template, log onto the web, and submit your finished template.

It is just that easy!

The template must be in JPG, GIF, PNG, PDF, EPS, TIFF, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop formats.
