C a r l s B i r t h d a y T e aJuly 1st was Carls Birthday and we all got together for a Birthday Tea. As usual Carl wasn’t keen on being photographed - but Callum made up for that!!

Coventry Transport Museum .......On Monday 16th July Larry and

Lynne flew off to Malaga for their

annual Summer Holiday. Six days

in Estepona staying with Darren and

Michelle, then nine days in Torre Blanca where they were joined by Isbel

and Morgan for a family holiday.

M a n y h i g h l i g h t s t o f o l l o w ,

including trips to Ronda, Gibralter,

Mijas, Benalmedina and Malaga.

I t ’ s Andalucia Time! !

Estepona HighlightsAfter arriving in Spain we spent six days in Estepona staying with Darren and Michelle. As well as showing us around the town we had trips to Gibralter, Ronda and Puerta Banus.

Coventry Transport Museum .......G ibra l t e r Day OutOn Wednesday 18th July, Larry, Lynne, Michelle, Isobel & Morgan caught the bus from

Estepona & travelled to Gibralter for the day. We saw many of the sights - although the one hour wait put us off the cable car!!!

How the other half lives!!!On Thursday,while Darren was

at work, Larry, Lynne and

Michelle caught the bus for the

short journey to Puerto Banus. A

real rich mans play ground,

with yachts, expensive cars and

designer shops.

Off to Malaga for the DayH a v i n g m o v e d o n f r o m Estepona to Torre Blanca the ‘Days Out’ continued. Next in line was Malaga, where Lynne, Michelle and the girls went on a boat trip, and then we all climbed the Castle Hill to enjoy the fantastic views of the city.

Coventry Transport Museum .......Return to Mijas PuebloLarry, Lynne and the girls h a d v i s i t e d t h e s m a l l mountain town of Mijas Pueblo last year. This year we returned and took Darren and Michelle with us for their first visit.

Cable car to Bird SanctuaryThis was another return for Larry,

Lynne and the girls, but a first for

Darren and Michelle. Having missed

out on the cable car at Gibralter, we

made up for it by ascending to the mountain peaks above Benalmedina to

watch the birds of prey putting on their

displays, and to then enjoy the

breathtaking views again.

Coventry Transport Museum .......El Castillo SohailAnother place to visit was El Castillo Sohail in Fuengirola - in fact we made two visits, the first one in the evening, only to find the castle closed, so we returned a couple of days later. After visiting the castle Darren, Michelle and the girls went on a pedalo ride in the estuary.

Fun at the Beach....Beacause of our busy schedule we only made a couple of visits to the beach in Torreblanca, but we made the most of it, as the pictures show.
