Access Information Cryptic’s Sound to Sea is a large-scale outdoor performance spectacular taking place on the banks and water of the River Clyde at the Glasgow Science Centre from 9:30 – 11pm on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd August 2014. Featuring a broad selection of live music and striking visuals, patrons should be advised that pyrotechnics, fireworks, strobe lighting and high-noise levels will be used throughout. For further information on ticket registration and allocation guidelines, please download the relevant document from (available in large print): www.cryptic.org.uk/soundtosea Travel to the site: When travelling to the site, there will be a dedicated drop-off and pick-up point at The Hub, 70 Pacific Quay, G51 1EA and a number of blue badge parking spaces will be allocated within the grounds of the Glasgow Science Centre complex. Owing to the large volumes of people attending Sound to Sea, it is recommended however, that where possible,

patrons take full advantage of the many public transport options available. For further information on bus, train and subway timetables, please download the relevant document from (available in large print): www.cryptic.org.uk/soundtosea Arrival on site: Once arriving on site, patrons are required to travel no more than 60 metres across illuminated concrete slabbing and gravel walkways from the main entrance to the standing viewing area for the performance. For wheelchair users and those who may struggle to stay on their feet during the performance, a viewing platform with non-slip surface will be available and, assuming they are identified accordingly, guide dogs are welcome.

All facilities on site will be easily sign-posted and accessible. Should you require any further assistance or support, there will be a visible help point with trained stewards on hand prior to, during and following the performance. If weather conditions are deemed too severe, the event will be cancelled and patrons will be notified in advance.

Whilst we aim to accommodate as many groups as possible, unfortunately Sound to Sea will not be able to provide a hearing loop system, BSL interpreter, visual or audio descriptions on site.
