Up to 20 teachers will be selected to receive a $150 grant to help support current or new class-room projects that focus on financial literacy. Educators must teach within HRECU’s service areas. Application deadline is November 2nd with grants awarded in December. Additional details and the application are available on our website.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce our long-time credit union supporter and Supervisory Committee member Calvin Mansfield passed away on July 15th. A native and lifelong res-ident of Hampton, Calvin grad-uated with the first class from Bethel High School in 1970. He taught for 43 years at Hampton City Schools. Calvin served on the HRECU Supervisory Committee since 2017.
