Venue and Accommodation
The opening ceremony will be held in the antique Main Building of the University. The rest of the conference will take place in the premises of the Faculty of Production Engineering. Several hotels of different categories are available at the heart of Warsaw, close to the Conference venue. Their list will be enclosed in the delegate’s material package to be mailed at a later date. Prices of the accommodation in high-quality hotels (Marriott, Holiday Inn, Mercure) are 150-250€ per night. University Hotel is priced at 30-50€ per night.
Program for Accompanying Persons
A special program will be prepared for accompanying persons.
Post-conference Tours
Post-conference tours are available upon demand. They will include various programs around Poland, and will be available in the period of several days after the Conference.

Two kinds of papers will be presented during the Conference:
Invited keynote papers presenting the state-• of-the-art and trends in the main fields of production engineering
Contributed papers presenting research results • and their industrial applications in the following areas:

Papers will be presented at the plenary session and during specialized sessions.
All contributed papers will be reviewed by the International Scientific Committee and printed in the conference proceedings. Selected papers will also be published in a respected international journals as it take place in previous APE conferences (http://ape2007.meil.pw.edu.pl/).
Call for papers
Prospective authors are invited to submit abstracts of their papers (up to 500 words) to the Conference Secretariat by October 15, 2009. Authors of accepted abstracts will be individually notified and obtain the instruction for preparing the paper.
