Here are some examples of what a few days on your EF Language Immersion Tour could look like:

MUSÉES, ATELIERS ET ARTISTES Take an aesthetic approach to exercising expressive language and emotive vocabulary.

Morning lesson:Sure, you know your Monet from your Rousseau, but can you describe how their work makes you feel in French? Spend the morning using words that every art lover needs to know with a colorful vocabulary workout.

Afternoon activity:It’s easy to feel at a loss for words in the endless halls of the mighty Louvre, but you’ll have plenty to say by the time you arrive. Stare at Rigaud’s Louis XIV long enough and you might even nudge your neighbor to exclaim, “Quel beau contraste!”

Evening interaction:Tonight you’ll have the opportunity to share all that inspiration and artistic energy over a conversation with a local painter. Show your appreciation for le décor of their studio, or chat about some contemporary artists you both enjoy.

LA CUISINE Master essential directives and commands while you shop and cook with the locals.

Morning lesson:Your introduction to the world of French food begins with a mouthful of vocab and cultural pointers—including names of unfamiliar ingredients and some words to the wise about eating out in France.

Afternoon activity:Head to the local market and pick out some snacks or a light déjeuner (no pointing allowed!). Whether it’s a wedge of soft brie for a baguette or a fresh brioche to complement your tea, it’s up to you to lead the exchange.

Evening interaction:Whether you’re a practicing gourmet or a master of the microwave, you’ll have plenty to learn during your cooking class tonight. With a professional chef at your side to walk you through the art of French cuisine, you’ll leave the kitchen with more than just language confidence.
