Learn German with the professionals: the Goethe-Institut Ottawa offers regular language courses at all levels. Following an individual placement test, you can begin learning at the level suited to you. If you have no previous knowledge of German, you will automatically be registered at level A1.1.

Whether you are registered or not to one of the following classes at the Goethe-Institut Ottawa: A1.3, A2.3, B1.4, B2.3, C1.4 or C2.4, you always have the possibility to take an individual exam. You may schedule an appointment with us. In such case, the fees will increase by 50%. Please contact the language department for further information.

The Goethe-Institut Ottawa is located on the premises of Saint Paul University on Main Street, close to Pretoria Bridge.
GETTING THERE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
By Bus:Take #5 or #16 towards or from Rideau Center. By Car: coming from West:Take the HWY-417 East. Take exit number 119 towards Metcalf Street. Keep straight to go onto Isabella Street. Bear right, then immediately bear left, towards the traffic lights, then cross the bridge over the canal. This road becomes Hawthorne Avenue. From Hawthornes turn right onto Main Street. By Car: coming from East:Take the HWY-417 West. The Nicholas Street exit is exit number 118 towards Mann Avenue. Keep right at the fork in the ramp. Turn right towards Lees Avenue. Turn left onto Main Street. Paid Parking:Paid parking is available at the Northwest-Side of the Campus.
