Day Five - Madrid - Barcelona– El Rastro Market – year round market open on Sundays and holidays,

operating for over 500 years, el Rastro has been referred to as the final border between Europe and Africa, comprising diverse peoples from different countries and of differing ethnicities all searching for curiosities or bargains, sightseeing, sampling the gastronomic delights of Madrid.

– High speed train to dinner and free time in Barcelona

Day Six- Barcelona– Morning guided tour to include Las Ramblas (gothic cathedral), Port

Vell (port of Barcelona), and Plaza Catalunya (Barcelona City Center, Sculpture, Mosaics, shops, cafes) – free time, lunch

– Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia construction began in 1882 and continues today, it was consecrated by Pope Benedict in 2010. Originally thought to take up to 300 years to complete, now estimated completion in 2026.

• Passports – Valid six months beyond return– Make two copies, one kept at home, one sent with student

• Chaperones– We need at least 12 chaperones for our trip, sign up and deposits
