SUBJECT : ENGLISH Your holiday homework is a fun mix of all the aspects of the language. It has been designed to ensure that you
enjoy and learn at the same time.
Note that almost all your holiday homework is based on your further FA activities. So ensure you do it
thoroughly.
The Holiday Homework needs to be done on ruled sheets.
1. Pay attention and time on your handwriting improvement, spellings and reading skills.
2. Read Supplementary Reader ‘The Sea Wolf ’, chapters 1 to 11. Frame three short questions and two
long questions along with their answers from each chapter.
3. Solve all the ‘Tenses’ exercises from Mastering Grammar (pg. no. 94 – 113) and Practice Worksheets
(pg. no. 21 – 23).
4. Learn and write all the word meanings of prose and poems of SA1 for a test to be held in the first week
of July.
5. Write diary for the following days – May 20th to May 30th 2016.
6. Read any one of the following story books and write a summary for the same in about 100 words on the
last page of your almanac.

4. Practice all the diagrams of chapter 1 and 2.
5. Learn the Basic concepts of Chemistry (symbols & formula given on page nos. 249-252) for class test.
6. Write Activity -4 (Page no 44) and Activity -7 (Page no 49) in your Practical file.

1. Revise the lessons taught in the class in the month of April – May.
