Using photographs and an arts and crafts activity, you will think about, analyze and discuss main aspects in society and in your own

lives that have changed as the years go by.

Then and now

Share your work of art!

In groups, discuss the differences between the photos and express your opinions about them. Think about:

- One word that expresses the difference between the two photos. - Discuss the different details of the photos (clothes, facial expressions, scenery and so on).- Discuss how you see the difference represented in the photos in your lives. Do you see a change from when you were children compared to now?

Present your collage to the rest of the class! Follow these instructions:

- Write down the main ideas of what you will say.- Talk about each element you included in your collage and what it represents. - Both you and your partner must participate in giving the presentation.

Be crafty!In pairs, use your picture sheet to make a collage representing your lives in the past and another collage representing your lives in the present. You can cut and glue the pictures on the picture sheet but you can also draw or write words.

On your own Keep in mind what was seen in today’s class: watch Now and Then, a movie about four childhood friends that come together to remember their past and catch up about the present.
