Security Team training is scheduled at our church on June 24 & 25, 2019 beginning at 6:00
pm on both nights. The sessions will last between 2 & 3 hours. All Security Team members are
urged to attend both sessions. The session on June 24, in the FLC, is open to any church member who
wishes to attend. The training on June 25, in the sanctuary, will only be for Security Team
members and Ministerial Staff who wish to attend. The training will be conducted by Clint McMurry,
Director, Columbia Law Enforcement Training Academy. McMurry will present information regarding recent violent attacks on houses of
worship, the mindset of attackers, preventing and stopping attacks, and Mississippi Law/Church
Policy. There will be scenario based training with role playing for the Security Team on June 25.

If there is a Sunday school group or mission group that would like to
volunteer to paint inside at Lamar Baptist Association building, please
contact Phillip Butler or Danny Henderson.

dropped off at the church office by Monday, July 8.

June 24 - Students will go to Lamar Baptist Association to paint. We will leave the church at 8:30 a.m.

June 30 - There will be a PARENT MEETING for all student campers following both morning services. All paperwork and money will be due at that time.

There will be a mission trip to Warsaw, NC, July 5th - 13th. Our team will be rebuilding homes
damaged by Hurricane Florence. The tasks will include carpentry, painting, and general handyman
skills. Contact Phillip Butler if you have any questions or are interested in participating.
