Rate Contract for the purchase of Chemicals, Reagents, Glasswares, Filter Papers,Plasticwares, Kits, Lab/Office Furniture, Display/White Boards etc. for the year2016-17 i.e. for the period ending 30.09.2017.

Offer(s), in sealed cover, are invited by the University from the following reputedmanufacturers/authorized dealers for "Rate Contract for the purchase Chemicals, Reagents,Glasswares, Filter Papers, Plasticwares, Kits, Lab/Office Furniture, Display/White Boards etc."for the year 2016-17 i.e. for the period ending 30.09.2017:

Chemicals : Qualigen, SRL, Merck, CDH, Spectrochem, SD Fine, ThomasBaker, TCI Japan, Loba Chemie.

Lab. Glassware : Borosil, Duran, JSGW,J. Sil, Perfit, Perfit, Labco, Glacier, JLG.

Filter Paper/Membrane filters: Whatman, Millipore.

The following terms and conditions will apply for rate contract for the year 2016-17 i.e forthe period ending 30.09.2017:

1. In case, the above mentioned item(s) is/are on rate contract with DGS&D/DS&D(Haryana), an authenticated copy of the same may be supplied along with your offer. Incase, no rate contract has been finalized till date with these authorities, a copy of suchrate contract, as and when finalized, may be supplied to this office during the currency ofthe University's rate contract.

2. The delivery will be F.O.R., Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences,+iisar.

3. The delivery period for Indian items shall be not more than 8 weeks & for imported itemsshall be not more than 12 weeks.

4. The Price List shall be submitted in Printed and bounded form along with CD.5. Payment will be made within 30 days of date subject to proper installation, wherever

applicable and satisfaction of the Inspection Committee. No advance payment or paymentagainst documents through Bank shall be made

6. In case, packing, forwarding, freight and insurance charges, Custom duty/Excise duty etc.are required to be paid by the University, you will have to supply Actual Payee Receiptsthereof. The charges, not mentioned in your quotation, shall not be paid by theUniversity in any case.

7. A security of Rs. 25000.00 in the shape of Fixed Deposit Receipt/ Deposit at Call/B.G. infavour of Comptroller, LUVASvalid upto November, 2017 may be furnished with the offer.The security by other means except FDR/DACfB.G. is not acceptable. In case, the ratecontract is not executed as per the settled terms and conditions, security can be forfeited,besides taking other action as deemed proper by the University. No firm with whom ratecontract is approved by the University is exempted from depositing the security.

8. The articles of fragile nature, particularly glasswares etc. shall be accepted throughpersonal delivery or else the transit risk shall be to your account. The samples can beasked for, wherever required.

9. Dry ice charges will not be paid to any firm/ local dealer.10.The following certificates may please be recorded in your offer:i. That we are maintaining only one countrywide price list applicable to all the

customers on which the present rates contract is based.ii. That the rates, and other terms and conditions offered to LUVAS are in no

way inferior to those being offered to other Govt./Semi Govt.Departments/lnstitutions including DGS8tD/DS8tD (Haryana).

iii. That in case, the rates are reduced/or more discount including any specialincentive for sales promotion is offered by you during the currency of ratecontract, the University shall be informed promptly.

iv. That the discount offered to LUVAS is the same as is being offered by you toyour Distributors.

v. That you have not been debarred/blacklisted by DGS8tD/DS8tD (Haryana)or any State Govt., University etc.

11. It may please be certified that no family member of your concern is servingin this University. In case it is found that any member belonging to thefamily of your concern is a University employee, the quotations/tenderssent by you will be rejected outrightly.

12. The Rate Contract shall be submitted on University Proforma(manufacturer/dealer) only. Copy of proof of your beingmanufacturer/authorized dealer/distributors and PAN/TAN number mustaccompany your offer. The firm/dealer(s) are requested not to attachextra/unnecessary documents with the University Proforma.

13. The sealed quotations from Manufacturer/Principal Firm along with Local authorizedDealer, complete in all respects, must reach the Office of the undersigned latest by27th September, 2016 by 12.00 Noon. The quotations shall be opened on 28thSeptember, 2016 at 9.30 A.M. in this Office. "QUOTATIONS FOR THE SUPPLYOF DUE ON " may please be superscribedon the envelope.

14. In case, any other information/clarification is required, please contact the undersignedat Tele No. 01662-256078, 289457, on any working day (Monday to Saturday except2nd Saturday) during office hours (9.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. during August to April and7.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. during May to July).

15. The offer received late/or incomplete will be rejected. The dispute, if any, shall besubject to the jurisdiction of Courts at Hisar. Any other jurisdiction mentioned in thequotations or invoices of the manufacturers/dealers etc. shall be invalid and shall haveno legal sanctity.

The delivery period of Indian items will be not more than 8 weeks& for imported items it will be not more than 12 weeks. The condition ofpayment within 30 days and other terms & conditions notified by the Universityin its invitation offer will also be adhered/agreed to.

2. We are maintaining only one countrywide price list applicable to all thecustomers on which the present rates contract is based.

3. The rates, and other terms and conditions offered to LUVAS are in no wayinferior to those being offered to other Govt./Semi Govt.Departments/Institutions including DGS&D/DS&D (Haryana).

4. In case, the rates are reduced/or more discount including any special incentive/~ for sales promotion is offered by us during the currency of rate contract, the
