TRANSCRIPT
Lakewood is Colorado’s fifth largest city, ideally located between the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and 10 minutes from the middle of the metro area. We are a forward-thinking community and a strong regional partner.
Denver International Airport (DIA) is a 34,000-acre international airport located 45 minutes from Lakewood by car. DIA hosts more than 20 passenger airlines and has daily national and international flights.
The Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport (RMMA) is a Jefferson County operated airport that is Denver’s premier corporate reliever choice. Located along U.S. Highway 36 and providing 24 hour U.S. Customs services, RMMA provides three extra runways into the Denver metro area.
Lakewood is served by the Regional Transportation District (RTD). RTD services within Lakewood with the W Line provide access to other parts of the area with the help of FasTracks. Lakewood is home to seven stops on the RTD W Line.
